La Justina Wines & Services was founded in 2010 by Justina Fedullo. It is named in honor of the generations of “Justinas” in her family, including Justina Cubas Castro, the granddaughter of Jose Cubas Castros, once governor of the province of Catamarca during the 1830s and 40s. Justina was influenced at a very young age by her contact with the vineyards; her connection to the land; and her need to merge the aromas, tastes, and colors into one sublime wine from Patagonia.

La Justina Wines shows the love of our lands, passion for life, and speaks to the region’s history of enchantment and seduction. Through them we inspire the creation of unique moments that capture the present. We are ambassadors to the world from our lands to your glass; we connect and cherish these special moments with you, our kindred souls.

Vineyards. The vineyards total 110 hectares and include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Torrontes, The varieties come from the best clones of the country, and together with the appropriate care and effort, achieve excellent wines.

The region’s favorable climate coupled with strong winds, promotes not only the health of the fruit, but also helps the grapes develop a thicker skin that in turn results in a greater concentration of color and aromas, These unique conditions allow the winery to create wines that are more complex, full-bodied, and with good concentration that are perfect for aging.

Cellar. The winery has a production capacity of 1.5 million liters. The winery combines a subtle aesthetic appeal with advanced technical resources. It is located at the 39 south latitude in the highest part of San Patricio del Chanar, 52 km from the city of Neuquén, a region characterize by diverse and wide-ranging climatic and geographic attributes that combine mountains, lakes and rivers, plateaus and valleys allowing pure contact with nature.

The winery’s unique topography allows it to achieve its goal of distinctive grapes and soft wines, with minimal disruption in order to preserve the maximum expression of each of the grape varieties.

For the fermentation of the red wines, the winery uses small volume stainless steel truncated tanks, which results in a greater contact surface and an increased extraction of color, flavor and tannins, which is then supplemented by rigorous meticulous and personalized treatment of the wines. The equipment of the winery includes specialized cooling masonry to control the temperature during fermentation and a wine cellar with a capacity of 500 barrels.

A purple red, with very bright, light ruby reflections. In its nose you can find notes of prunes, cherries and hints of mint, atop a soft smoky background, due to its breeding in oak barrels. It is a frank, fresh wine, with good acidity and very easy to drink.
