From Mrs. Duffey: The students are really loving the Halloween themed books!

This week we dive into a personal favorite,

“Crankenstein” by Samantha Berger. Students will learn how to make connections to the text

and the importance of sequencing. We will also learn about synonyms and quotation

marks in our writing. In Science, we will continue to observe and

use claim, evidence and reasoning to understand the life

cycle of butterflies and mealworms. For Math, we will

continue working on our addition strategies to help us become more fluent in our facts and we’ll move onto subtraction!

Also, I hope everyone has tried Reflex Math and Dreambox!
