A suggested donation of $10 is being requested. The shirts will be available by June 1. Summer Lunch Program: Sign up at the Information kiosk to help prepare or deliver lunches, starting on May 29 through August 14, for kids who may not otherwise get to eat. Pick up a Needs List or check in your Bible Fellow- ship classes for items to donate. Youth Choir Mission Trip: Monetary donations are now being accepted to go towards the purchase of food for the Youth Choir Mission Trip to Chicago, Illinois. To donate, use a green offering envelope, mark it “Youth Mission Trip Food,” and turn it in by May 27. Lee’s Summit’s Downtown Days: Sign up at the Information kiosk for a 2-hour time slot to greet and hand out water bottles in our parking lot on June 1 & 2. R.E.A.L. Moms: Mothers of preschoolers build Relation- ships, receive Encouragement, find Acceptance, and enjoy Laughter. Registration is open for the next year of R.E.A.L. Moms starting in August, and the cost is $50. Registration forms are at the Information kiosk or Children’s area. Facility Renovations: The renovations will improve the safety and effectiveness in our preschool, children, and student ministries, provide additional office space, and a digital church sign. To support this project, please designate a gift to our "Building the Future" campaign. Work will begin as soon as we raise $200,000. NEXT STEPS Attend a “Welcome to FBCLS” Orientation to learn more about the mission and ministries of First Baptist Lee’s Summit. The next Orientation will be held in June in the Chapel. Get connected with a small group for Bible study and fellowship.
