They’re someone you work with. Perhaps a friend. Or, a relative.

They could even be you. They are the KUNM volunteers who host, produce, program and announce the eclectic music and news programs you’ve been hearing for over 40 years. They, like you, make up the “community” in community-pow-ered radio for Central and Northern New Mexico.

We honor those KUNM volunteers who are celebrating anniversaries in August.

Paul Gonzales, Monday host of All That Jazz, celebrates 4 years.

Wellington Guzman, alternating host of Salsa Sabrosa, celebrates 13 years.

Richard Frederiksen, producer Univer-sity Showcase, celebrates 7 years.

Glenda Lewis, Global Music, Afternoon-Freeform Host, celebrates 7 years.

Thank you for your service in keeping KUNM alive and thriving!
