BEFORE STARTING:OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI:

FITTING THE HARNESS - ECU SIDE :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO - LATO CENTRALINA:

1- Remove the seats, the handles and the rear covers of the bike

2- Disconnect the battery positive pole to avoid diagnostic errors and/or malfunction in the OEM ECU

1- Rimuovere le selle, le maniglie e le plastiche posteriori dalla moto

2- Disconnettere il polo positivo della batteria per prevenire errori di diagnostica e/o malfunzionamenti nella centralina originale

1- Place GET ECU connector, the GND cable and MAINconnector inside the battery holder (which is located under thepassenger seat)

2- Place the harness on the right side of the bike (install itinside the rear frame) – see pictures 2 and 3

1- Far uscire i cavi marchiati GND e MAIN ed il cavo diconnessione della ECU GET nel vano sottosella delpasseggero sopra la batteria

2- Far passare il cablaggio sul lato destro della moto (all’internodel telaietto posteriore) – vedi figure 2 e 3

FITTING THE HARNESS - SIDE STAND :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO - CAVALLETTO LATERALE:

1- Place the side stand cable (marked SIDE STAND) behind the rear shock and pull it out through the left side of the bike

2- Disconnect the OEM side stand connectors

1- Passare il cavo (marcato SIDE STAND) dietro il mono ammortizzatore posteriore; farlo uscire sul lato sinistro della moto

2- Disconnettere i cavi del sensore cavalletto originali

3- Engage the OEM side stand connectors to the GET harness

4- Fix the side stand harness to the bike frame by using the tie wraps. WARNING: keep the cables away from the exhaust pipe

3- Connettere i cavi del sensore cavalletto originali a quelli del cablaggio GET

4- Fissare i cablaggi al telaio della moto con delle fascette. ATTENZIONE: TENERE I CAVI DISTANTI DAL TUBO DI SCARICO

FITTING THE HARNESS – PICK-UP SENSOR :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO – SENSORE GIRI MOTORE:

FITTING THE HARNESS – TPS CABLE :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO – SENSORE FARFALLA:

1-2 Place the pick-up cable (marked SMOT) over theengine head (see picture 1 and 2) and pull it outthrough the left side of the bike

3- Disconnect the OEM pick-up connectors andconnect them to the GET harness

1-2 Passare il cavo pick-up (marcato SMOT) sopra latesta del motore (vedi figura 1); farlo uscire sul latosinistro della moto

3- Connettere i cavi del sensore giri motore a quellidel cablaggio GET

1-2 Place the TPS cable (marked TPS) on the right side of the bike, behind the frame pipes (see picture 1) and under the coolant pipenear the throttle sensor

1-2 Passare il cavo TPS (marcato TPS) dietro ai tubi del telaio e sotto al tubo del refrigerante vicino al sensore farfalla (vedi figura 1):operare sul lato destro della moto

FITTING THE HARNESS – COIL CABLE :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO – CAVO BOBINA:

3-4 Disconnect the OEM TPS connector and connect the GET TPS harness

3-4 Disconnettere i connettori originali ed inserire i connettori del cablaggio GET

1- Place the cable (marked COIL) in the right sideof the bike, behind the frame pipes (see picture 1):it has to come out over the coolant radiator

2-3 Disconnect the OEM coil connector andconnect the GET COIL harness

1- Passare il cavo (marcato COIL) dietro ai tubi deltelaio e farlo uscire sopra il radiatore dell’acqua(vedi figura 1): operare sul lato destro della moto

2-3 Disconnettere i connettori originali ed inserire iconnettori del cablaggio GET

FITTING THE HARNESS – ENGINE MAP SWITCH :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO – CAVO CAMBIO MAPPATURA MOTORE:

1- Find the injector cable (marked INJECTOR) asshown in picture 1

2-3 Pull out the OEM injector connector and connectthe GET INJECTOR harness

1- Individuare il cavo iniettore (marcato INJECTOR )- vedi figura 1

2-3 Disconnettere i connettori originali ed inserire iconnettori del cablaggio GET

1- By following the same route of the pick-up cable, pass the switch mapharness (marked SW MAP) from right to left side of the bike (see picture 1)

2- Pass the cable under the fuel tank and connect it to the engine switch map(optional-sold separately)

1- Passare il cavo per l’interruttore di cambio mappa (marcato SW MAP) dallato destro a quello sinistro della moto (vedi figura 1) seguendo lo stessopercorso del cavo pick-up

2- Far passare il cavo sotto al serbatoio e collegarlo all’interruttore di cambiomappa (opzionale – venduto separatamente)

FITTING THE HARNESS – ENGINE TEMPERATURE WIRE :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO – FILO TEMPERATURA MOTORE:

FITTING THE HARNESS – SLICE CONNECTOR EMPLOY :INSTALLAZIONE DEL CABLAGGIO – UTILIZZO DEL MORSETTO RUBACORRENTE:

1- Pull out the OEM engine temperature sensorconnector (see picture 1)

2- Join the yellow wire of the enginetemperature connector to the GET harness TENGINE wire: use the supplied splice connector

3- Re-engage the engine temperature sensorconnector

1- Rimuovere il connettore del sensore ditemperatura del veicolo - vedi figura 1

2- Unire il filo giallo del connettore temperaturamotore con il filo T ENGINE del cablaggio GET:utilizzare il morsetto ruba corrente fornito con ilkit

3- Reinnestare il connettore del sensore ditemperatura motore

1- Insert the run wire (yellow) into the open side of the connector and the tap wire (from GET harness) into the wire port on the closedside of the connector. Do not strip the wire. Make sure the tap wire is inserted past the metal element to the back wall of the connector.

2- Place the connector between the jaws of a pliers, cap side down. Make sure the run wire remains inside the connector body, and thetap wire remains inserted to the back wall of the connector. Rest the connector against the step in the back wall of the crimping jaws andsqueeze the handles of the pliers. MAKE SURE THAT SOME PROTECTIVE GEL LEAKS OUT FROM THE CONNECTOR – THISINDICATES A GOOD CRIMPING PROCEDURE

1- Inserire il filo da cui prelevare il segnale (giallo) nella parte aperta del connettore (OPEN SIDE) e quello del cablaggio GETnell’alloggiamento denominato CLOSED SIDE. Non spellare alcun filo. Assicurarsi che il che il filo del cablaggio GET oltrepassi la partemetallica del fondo del connettore

2- Stringere il morsetto con una pinza assicurandosi che i fili rimangano nelle rispettive sedi – orientare il tappo (CAP) verso il basso.ASSICURARSI CHE QUALCHE GOCCIA DI GEL PROTETTIVO FUORIESCA DAL MORSETTO – INDICE DI UNA CORRETTACRIMPATURA

FITTING THE GET ECU:INSTALLAZIONE DELLA CENTRALINA GET:

1- Clean the under-seat surface and apply a piece of bi-adhesive tape as shown in picture 1

2- Connect the GND wire to the bike’s battery negative pole

1- Pulire la superficie del sottosella ed applicare un pezzo di nastro bi-adesivo

2- Connettere il cavo siglato GND al polo negativo della batteria della moto

3- Engage the black connector to GET ECU and press it over the bi-adhesive tape: this will fix the device to the bike

4- Reconnect the positive wire to the battery: the bike is ready to start

5- Fix all cable and remount all bike parts

3- Collegare il connettore nero alla centralina GET e premerli sopra il nastro bi-adesivo: questo fisserà il tutto alla moto

4- Riconnettere il cavo del positivo alla batteria: il montaggio del kit è terminato

5- Fissare i cablaggi con fascette e rimontare tutte le parti della moto tolte in precedenza
