To be tested; !Exchange = the pada in the sign is having a counterpart (pada exchange) with another pada in another star, so it is similar toparivartana yoga where planets exchange signs (dispositor of a planet is disposited by the same planet)___example; asvini pada 2 is a taurus pada & intaurus Rohini pada 1 is an Aries pada; so the planets in these 2 padas are supposed to transfer/ exchange their dasa or bhukti period(s) with each-other(hard to find examples as there is very little chances it can happen, we need to have 1 planet in a pada giver + another one in a pada receiver; in each

This classification is very important and useful in judging Raja-yogas and worth of a chart. If more planets fall inBhagyamsa, Karmamsa, Labhamsa, Lagnamsa or Sukhansa, the native leads a happy and prosperous life. Conversely if more planetsoccupy Shashthamsah, Nidhanamsa, Vyayamsa or Ashtamasa, the native of confronts many difficulties in life. lagna lord of D9 in Kendraor kona position in D1 causes Parijatha Yoga.

Patel suggested five methods based on Horasara, Chandrakalanadi, Sanketanidhi,Prasnamarga Etc. In his words1. Reckon the no. of Navamsas from Navamsa occupied by various planets upto the navamsa occupied by the Asc. Both inclusive.2. Learned men should reckon the number of navamsa from the first pada of Aswini star upto the pada (navamsa) occupied by each planet (Rahu Ketualso) both inclusive.3. Reckon the number of navamsas from the navamsa occupied by Sat etc., upto the navamsa occupied by the Moon, both inclusive.4. Units are measured by the navamsas traversed by the lord of rising navamsa from the lagna navamsa, one can apply this rule to the position of otherplanets.5. The number of navamsas from the navamsa of the ASc. Upto the navamsa occupied by the malefic and benefic planets.

We have to identify the position of the 6th lord of the rasi chart in Navamsa and note down the lord of the sign. This planet is responsible for the disease,and timing of the ailment. He is called as Navamsa dispositor. The position of Navamsa dispositor in the rasi chart indicates the portion of the bodyaffected. In every horoscope, there is a beneficial planet called Yogi and a harmful planet called Avayogi.

Avayogi is also responsible for creating diseases according to its signification and position in the zodiac and if the controller is Avayogi of a planet thatplanet suffers.
