Capacity Building Programme (CBP) For English

TeachersA two-day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) was organized bySapphire International School, SS -1, Sector-70, Noida on 12.04.19 and13.04.19 for the Teachers of English, teaching the recently introducedNew Curriculum of English Language & Literature (Subject Code-184)for Grade 10 in its School Auditorium under the aegis of the CBSETraining Programme that facilitates and enhances the linguisticlearning of its faculty. Around 50 teachers drawn from the leadingschools of Delhi-NCR attended this programme. Ms. Hema Sharma(PGT English) and Ms. Ipshita Bahuguna (TGT English) representedtheir home sponsor – Kothari International School, at the learnedcongregation.

Skilled Indiais the need of the hour and each step taken for this dream should bewelcomed and we should work towards it together for a better India.To give its contribution in this aspect and to celebrate the birthanniversary of Dr. B.R.Ambekar, ATL COMMUNITY DAY was organisedby Kothari International School, Noida on April 22, 2019. Theobjective of this day is to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination inyoung minds and inculcate skills such as design mind-set,computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, rapidcalculations, measurements etc. Young children will get a chance towork with tools and equipment to understand what, how and whyaspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

G 6-12 Kothari International School held an Orientation Programme byDiplomathon on the 23 of April,2019,in its AV Hall. Students of grade6 to 12 attended the programme. The founder of the concept Mr.Hriday Bhatia gave exhaustive information about the programme tobe held on the 18& 19 of May,2019. It was attended by 500 aspiringstudents. The concept of Diplomathon is to promote debating skillsamong young learners with diplomacy. It was possible because ofthe encouragement that we received from our revered principalma'am Ms Manju Gupta and vice principal Ms. Neerja Chathly.

KIS celebrated and honoured its outgoing batch of Grade 12, 2018-19 in a solemn yet vibrant and joyous function. It was an emotionaljourney for Teachers, Parents and Students specially during theCitation Ceremony.

Mr Pawan Kumar Gupta was the Chief Guest for the day and theoccasion was graced by our Chairperson Ms Arti Kothari, Trustee DrAvinash Gupta and Management Member, Mr Pradeep Srivastava,Principal Ms Manju Gupta and Vice Principal Ms Neerja Chathly.

The inspiring words of the Chief Guest Mr Pawan Kumar Gupta ofstaying rooted to one’s own culture was reinforced by ourChairperson and Trustee.

The purpose of the Orientation Programme was to make theparents and the students aware of the CBSE Curriculum and changesin the new Academic Session 2019-20. G11& 12The selection of Senior Wing Student Government for the session2019-20 began with mammoth enthusiasm from April 1st 2019onwards. The students started by filling Nomination forms, in total50 students applied for 20 White badge positions. All of themunderwent a panel interview by teachers and shortlisted candidatesfrom each Grade went for next super exciting nerve combustinground. The following week will how be for the candidates to givestrong and powerful speeches in front of the entire senior wingstudents and to do their campaigning; followed with posters andpamphlets to convince the voters to vote for them. Then students willcast their votes on EVM machines and the suitable candidates will beselected.
