2. Corporate Identity
The overall shape of this association mark represents a fish creating Value to organizations.
The harmonious presentation of the black-colored ‘K’ and the red-colored ‘I’ symbolizes eyes of a guard
as the last bastion of compliance. By linking K with C, which denotes corporate, it expresses that KICA pl
ays a role as the bridge between law and corporate policy while embodying the image of a shield that g
uards an organization’s internal/external legal interest.
3. Vision
Growth PeopleWorking
TogetherOne
Organization
‘People’ are everything to KICA. Our reason for existence is to protect the fair interests of our
members. We strive to help our members pursue development with dignity and compliance,
thereby contributing to the growth of our members, their organizations,
the nation, and the society as a whole.
KICA was organized in 2009 with its
beginning back to 2006 when in-house
counsels working in Yeouido region
started a lunch time gathering. After
merging with the in-house counsel
gatherings in Gangnam and Gangbuk
regions in 2011, it has proven itself as the
representative of Korean in-house
counsels with its members amounting to
2,000 counsels.
Our most valuable asset
is our members.
With this in mind,
we have spared no effort to
advance the status of in-house counsels
so that their role and value
are highly recognized
in their organizations.
Though our members have different
corporate backgrounds,
We have provided various
academic seminars and
cultural events where members
can enhance professionalism
and network by sharing values,
vision, and human resources.
KICA is an organic body which
organizes itself through member participation.
We as one organization
contributes to the development of
member companies, the nation,
and the society through
compliance support
and community services.
“An association of in-house counsels, by in-house counsels, for in-house counsels”
