I. Introducing Law 5 Years 1999 & KPPU
• At the early stage, requires an extra-strong effort to introduce and implement Competition Law. Academics institution is one of many partners in voicing the importance of competition law and policy

Competition Checklist
Many universities do not yet have a business competition law
subject in their curriculum/syllabus especially in the law and
economics/business faculties;
The cooperation usually start with signing Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) between the designated universities and
KPPU;
The MoU is used as an official base to implement various joint
activities between KPPU and Universities.
Academia Network, call Indonesian Academic Network on Competition (Forum Dosen Persaingan Usaha - FDPU). KPPU with FDPU held various event or joint research, seminars, papers, joint publication,
trainings and visiting scholars.
East Asia Academic Network On Competition Policy
And Law (EANCP), the 13th East Asia Top Level Meeting on Competition Policy and Law (EATOP/EAC) which was held in Bali, September
2017 took initiative to encourage the establishment of Academic Network in the
field of Competition Policy and Law with hopes that The East Asia Academic
Network on Competition Policy and Law (EANCP) will play the role of collaborating
advance research and broadening network among themselves and with the
regulator with the main objective of improving or developing knowledge hub and
expertise in competition policy and law in East Asia. Moreover this network would
also serve the needs of theoretical and practical convergence
to address competition problems in the region.
Workshop, KPPU regularly conducts workshops for law & economic lecturer in all student batches.
KPPU provide internship programs to law and economics’ sophomore and senior students
Competition Corner, is also a hub to embody KPPU as a center of excellence in business competition in Asia, so that it can provide a forum for
knowledge and exchange ideas on the development of business competition
issues, both domestically and globally. Competition Corners have produced
programs such as Corner Companion Student Placement to become Business
Competition Ambassadors, Student Discussions, Public Discussions, Lecturer
Discussion Forums, Paper Work, Internship Program, Research Program, and
Essay Competitions.
