Day of Caring
Recently, volunteers from the YMCA Settlement Services visited
Kennebec Manor as part of Day of Caring.
The Y students are part of the Newcomers program, young people
who have moved to our area from other countries.
Their teachers Rhonda Kelley and Natalia Ribeiro assist the
students in connecting with the community for employment and
friendship.
This wonderful group of students helped to landscape, did some
planting and painted our deck.
This will make a huge difference for our residents who are now
able to get outside to enjoy the summer weather.
