POC ProgrammeWhat's involved?• Awards cover 100% of project costs.• 3 Phases• Phase 1: Est. 6-12mths, £50-200k
• Costs you can claim:– Personnel , consumables, market assessment, patent costs,
equipment, subcontracting , other– The programme does not pay overhead costs

Overview• For SME’s based in Scotland
Feasibility studies• Early stage of an R&D project• Supports 70% of the eligible costs• Project 6 - 18 months• Max grant = £100,000
R&D Projects• Pre-production prototype• Supports up to 35% of the eligible project costs. • Project 6 - 36 months• Max grant = £600,000

• Project Requirements:– Advance in technological innovation – Technical risks and challenges
• Demonstrate:– Own IP– Commercial prospects & routes to market– Management & technical expertise – Financially viable
