All systems from the ProRental series are designed for mobile use. Handles to facilitate carrying, feet at positions where they are needed, the polyurea coating, which is more resistant than regular paint. Thought out mechanically and designed for long-term use.

The ProRental series is distinguished acoustically through the optimisation for maximum per-formance. The carefully selected neodymium chassis deliver results that you expect as a user. These systems are also lightweight, easy to use with the K&F SystemRack and always protected. Our philosophy is to reproduce the most neutral, natural and authentic sound possible.

All ProRental systems, up to PASSIO, are run with the K&F SystemRack as a drive and control unit. The LS-Blocks include the parameters for each loudspeaker in order to achieve an optimal result. This guarantees the user consistent and reproducible results with marked high system performance.

Details that make a differenceThe line array system, K&F SEQUENZA 10, proves convincing in its handling. The fast and safe rigging system 'Snap&Fly' saves time and personnel without cutting corners on safety. All angle adjustments of the 3-point rigging system are pre-selected on the ground. When lifting, the units lock automatically and the line array is immediately ready for use. And all that with compact dimensions and a low weight.

Front sound pressure,with high backward damping.Up to four elements generate a maximum sound pressure of 150 dB. Towards the stage, however, the system is extremely quiet. The subwoofer K&F SEQUENZA 10 B blasts the powerful energy forward in a cardioid array and the rearward low- frequency part is eliminated. The sound is then clearer, the stage quieter and distur-bing emissions in the surroundings are considerably reduced.

Patented WaveguideThe special tweeter unit of the K&F SEQUENZA 10 consists of a waveformer with three 1 high-frequency drivers that produces a plane wave front up to over 16 kHz. The unique tweeter resolution and the long throw are convincing during every use.

Thanks to the K&F SEQUENZA 10s all-around perfected design, the system delivers a performance that can, without exaggerating, be considered as the outer limits of feasibility in todays state of technology. (Production Partner 7-8/2008)

All good things come in threes!K&F SEQUENZA 5 is characterised by its ease-of-use, compact size and subtle appea-rance. Together with 'SafeLock', the fast and safe rigging system 'Snap&Fly+' saves time, personnel, and nerves, while cutting no corners in its safety.

Three body variants allow the user to optimally respond to the different conditions on-site. With the K&F SEQUENZA 5 W transport case the angle adjustments of the system can then be pre-selected on the ground, and the units lock automatically when lifted. Alternatively, the three previously connected elements are tipped and then connected from case to case. For smaller setups, such as with applications with the VariMount adapter or the Downfill adapter SEQUENZA 10 to 5, the K&F SEQUENZA 5 elements can also be individually connected to each other.

Form Follows FunctionThe K&F SEQUENZA 5 was designed to achieve the effective length for a line array with just a few elements. One of the many technical highlights is the use of the modified and patented Waveguide from the K&F SEQUENZA 10, which is used as a 100 x 15 version with more vertical coverage. It was thus once again possible to combine technology and design to create superior product advantages.

This is where the GRAVIS range, which has now been extended by the two models GRAVIS 8 and GRAVIS 15, meets the widest range of requirements every day and without compromise.

K&F NOMOS The new generation of modern subwoofer systems. Bass is music!Kling & Freitag stands for the most neutral and authentic reproduction of the audio signal. Our desire for accurate reproduction, especially at the lower octaves, and a dry and artefact-free bass is often only recognised through our own experience and appreciation.

The new K&F NOMOS subwoofers combine two highly welcome features significant musicality paired with astounding performance. The acoustic tuning of all subwoofers achieves deep and very contoured bass reproduction. The housings of the 15" and 18" subwoofers, which was designed with truck dimensions, are compatible with each other so can be combined as cardioid systems. A clear design language, which is maintained in all combinations, was implemented. This is how the speaker connec-tion for cardioid applications was integrated behind the logo, for example. Together with the NOMOS XLC, the NOMOS range now has 6 different high performance subwoofers, which enable optimal use with the fullrange systems from the ProRental lines GRAVIS and SEQUENZA.

Subwoofer systems of the K&F NOMOS range are exceptionally musical, professional and cost-saving tools, making way for what is really important the well-directed and creative design of acoustic impressions.

Whenever music is played live, the floor wedge K&F SCENA 15 provides extremely accurate feedback to the musician and thus forms the base for making music at a high level of quality. Its natural sound and the basic tone, which is particularly warm and precise, support clear intonation, and work without stress. The job at the control board becomes pleasantly easygoing: with the K&F SCENA 15, it is easier to bring out the important voices and instruments, coinciding with a very low feedback tendency (gain before feedback).

What a modern floor wedge needsWith its subtle and attractive design with a low installation height and covered con-nection field, K&F SCENA 15 has been optimised for operation as floor wedge in live mode and for applications with high optical value, such as in television or on theatre stages. The coaxially assembled monitor is very flexible and can also be suspended on the M10 suspension points, if needed, or mounted on speaker stands using integra-ted mounting flanges.

The handling of K&F SCENA 15 is appreciated for its compact dimensions, the low weight and the intelligent handle solution. The special polyurea coating, the robust exterior grille and the well-positioned base plates make it robust for tough everyday touring conditions.

The subtle, integrated rear mounting bracket is included in the delivery. The standard finish is available in black and white; special RAL colours can be provided on request.

Acoustically, the systems of the InstallSound series are designed as full-range speakers. To extend the low frequency range, matching subwoofer systems complement the product range. Over Ethernet, it can be flexibly switched on or off, controlled and monitored. The redundant designed firmware enables updates and plug-ins over the web interface. Design Features:

StandbyPower consumption in standby mode: 4.5 W (monitoring over remote and network switch active) standby switchover time -> ready to use: 1.6 seconds. Standby mode can be awakened via a signal by GPIO, Ethernet or after connecting the supply voltage.

GPIOsFour user-assigned inputs can be controlled with analogue voltage levels from 0-10 V. The inputs allow, for example, setting of the volume level, the turning on and off of the amp, as well as muting of the inputs. With the inputs and outputs (GPIOs), you can create control tasks for signals and control functions without additional me-dia control or a PC. The fullrange systems of the K&F CA series are approved since many years in the professional everyday life. Their particularities are their high acoustic level and the simple operation with any high quality linear output stage, without additional signal electronics.

In order to reach optimized acoustical characteristics in passive concepts, carefully adjusted compensation and linearization filters are employed in the audio crossover. For some systems, sophisticated all-pass filters have been added, for the adaptation of phase response and envelope delay. The result is a hardly perceptible transition from the direct radiator to the horn driver and a homogeneous evolution of the ra-diation characteristics. For this, the integrated self-resetting circuit breakers increase the operation reliability.

All systems dispose in the mid-high range of rotary horn-driver combinations with configured radiation characteristics, and according to the model they are perfectly adapted for the use in short or medium auditory distances. The combination of the attractive enclosure design and functional accessories permits a wide-range and fle-xible use.

All enclosures are equipped with a monitor angle (K&F CA 1215 optionally) Fur-thermore, all models are available as 'AS' version (axial symmetry) in order to form monitor pairs (horn to horn). This symmetric arrangement provides a higher focusing in the mid-high range and thus reduces feedback problems of monitor operation to the minimum.

For the control without compromise and for the operation with subwoofer systems, digital system controllers K&F CD 44, the K&F SystemRack and K&F TOPAS are availa-ble, for the quick and easy realization of a maximum of sound and of operation liabi-lity even in the most stressful production activities - for a single full-range system, for larger assemblies of loudspeakers or in combination with K&F subwoofers.

The K&F Line 212 belongs to the rare category of big full-range systems with passive crossover. They are used as full-range system or top part, combined with the digital system controller K&F CD 44, the K&F SystemRack or the K&F TOPAS.

The patented FLC-technology, developed by Kling & Freitag produces already from the low mid range a dispersion characteristic with a distinctly orientated and homoge-neous progression. For this purpose, two equal speaker chassis are acoustically linked to one single sound line and controlled by the FLC-electronics in frequency bands in identical phases. The frequency-selective addition of the two 12 diaphragms results in a highly efficient and acoustically optimized speaker unit - especially for bass range reproduction, efficiency and homogeneity of the omni-directional dispersion.

There is an enormous number of possible combinations with K&F Line 212 systems: single systems or cluster combinations, horizontal or vertical installation, placed on the stage or flown. The certified suspension system 'Click & Fly' is very easy to ope-rate and permits a quick and safe setup.

The high reproduction quality, the unique radiation characteristics, the high maxi-mum sound pressure limit and the high operation liability are making of K&F Line 212 systems the first choice for all applications with medium auditory distances. The K&F SW series consists of a range of compact subwoofers. All systems have been optimized for the fullrange systems of the K&F CA and K&F Line 212 series. The K&F SW systems can be used for various purposes, excelling in particular with applications which are requiring a powerful and differentiated low range reproduction with high sound pressure. Combined with the K&F CA and K&F Line 212 series, the optimized control is ensured by the digital system controller K&F CD 44, the K&F SystemRack or the K&F TOPAS. Optionally, there is a switchable passive low pass filter available for selected models of the K&F SW series. Therefore an additional Systemcontroller for low pass settings is not nessecary required.

A solid and sophisticated tunnel and enclosure design reduces to the minimum the friction losses and distortions by high air speed. The tunnel lay-out of the subwoofers is enlarging exponentially, supplying an essential contribution to the excellent per-formance of this model range. All subwoofers are disposing of modern long stroke chassis technology with high-efficiency cooling.

Enclosures of the K&F SW series are optimized for two applications: K&F SW for the mobile use and the K&F SWi model for fixed installation. The stacking grooves and the plastic sliding feet of the mobile versions ensure the safe stacking of equal housings. The integrated ergonomic handles are placed in the balance point, sim-plifying handling. The fixed installation versions renounce for optical reasons slide pads, stacking cavities and handles. Also, they can be flown by means of hidden M12 thread inserts. The K&F SW 215E 'Suspension' can be assembled with the K&F Line 212 systems by the certified rigging system 'Click & Fly' to flyable units.

K&F SP SeriesSpeaker Systems with integrated Amplifier Technology

The K&F SP series consists of a range of high quality self-powered speaker systems. They are based on selected models of the passive K&F CA-, K&F Line- and K&F SW-series and equipped with additional controlling and Class D output appliance tech-nologies. These integrated active electronics ensure the controller functions which are specific to the system and include one or two highly efficient digital fanless 1 kW Class D output appliances. Due to the high efficiency of the Class D output applian-ces, the K&F SP systems are weighing only up to 3.9 kg more than the corresponding passive systems.

Plug & Play - the operation of the active speakers is as simple as possible: After connection of signal and current, your K&F SP system is ready to start. The fullrange systems of the K&F SP series are transmitting the full range of frequencies. In case of need it is possible to amplify the bass reproduction by additional K&F SP subwoofers. Enjoy the full liberty - by integrated phase adaptation, permitting any combination of K&F SP full-range systems with all K&F SP subwoofer systems.

The K&F ACCESS series consists of the two hornloaded high-end mid-high range systems K&F T5 and K&F T9, and of the subwoofer systems K&F B5 and K&F B10.

The arrangement of several K&F ACCESS systems in clusters or in big arrays allows the scaling for many different applications up to large-scale sound systems. By its re-gular directional characteristic, the K&F ACCESS series is also appropriate for smaller or middle-size audience requirements with only one stack (consisting of Top & Sub) per side.

The use of the 5 compression driver permits a broad-band peak sound pressure of more than 140 dB, with very low distortion and highest audio quality (K&F ACCESS T5). The patented M5 driver contributes decisively to the homogeneity and transpa-rency of the sound. All horn contours of the K&F ACCESS series are showing, beside their perfect directional characteristic and their optimized directivity, an efficiency advantage of 3-5 dB, compared with conventional hornloaded systems.

The two 18 drivers of the subwoofers B5 and B10 are acting on an own vented chamber. Both diaphragm surfaces are acting together on the third pressure chamber which is open to the front side. By this, an enormous efficiency increase and a high reverse attenuation of both bass systems is realized.

The driving unit for the K&F ACCESS System is the K&F SystemRack. It is guaranteeing high performance reserves and the scalability / possibility of additionally rent which are required for sound systems of this size. Due to its low weight and the robust ap-proved touring output stage it is offering a worldwide mobile and reliable operation, complying with highest sound standards.

The K&F ACCESS series is a high performance sound system, satisfying in an outstan-ding way all requirements in terms of sound and sound pressure - from hard rock to classical music.
