Key QUESTIONS?10
As people continue to alter land for uses other than agriculture, such as residential, industrial & mining what will be the role of planning in this sector?
Can Land subdivision AND Land fragmentation be a key factor influencing household land use and thus affecting household food security?
Do we need radical decisions on: agriculture or Commercial development? Urban or rural? Do we built or do we farm or do we conserve?
Is Critical spatial thinking all that we need? Real-time, continuous monitoring of phenomena: farming, wildlife and our forest cover?
What is the Role of GIS and Earth Observation
As technology becomes easier to use and more ubiquitous, we need to entrench geospatial technology in agriculture, wetland, forest and wildlife planning
