Parents/Guardians, Below are the activities and lessons for the next two weeks of Remote Learning (May 6-20). Remember that any online activities or videos are optional as we understand that not everyone has access to these modes of learning. However, most should be able to be viewed or accessed through computer, phone, iPad, or tablet. We are continuing with the ABC Countdown and weekly poems. There are also additional links this phase for Leader in Me videos/activities. This is something we talked about daily during school and something we would like to continue during this time. These are the 7 Habits that we talk about exhibiting and will continue throughout their years at Independence. Another reminder that our office hours are from 10 AM - 12 PM each weekday. These are the times we will be active and able to answer questions or help quickly. We are available during other times throughout the day but our response time may be a little more delayed. We are all so sad that our school year is coming to end like this but know that we will see each other again! Thank you for all that you are doing to continue your child’s education. Swimming in the pond.

Waiting to be a frog,

Just like my mom!

First I’ll grow my back legs,

And then I’ll get my front.

Last my tail will fall off,

And then I’m ready to jump!
