Mathematics
Skills Needed• Count to 20• Identify and name at
least 4 basic shapes• Identify numerals 0 to
10• Match a set of objects
to the correct numeral• Sort objects by color,
shape, or size
How Parents Can Help• Model math in daily life• Sing counting games;
recite number rhymes; read books about numbers
• Sort and count household objects
• Play games• Teach phone number

Social Skills
