Welcome to the New Year The first meeting for the year is here! A time get cracking in the workshop and get some Show and Tell happening, we all have a little creativity just waiting to see the light of day, so brush off the cobwebs and let’s make some shavings. The last KWG woodcraft sales went extremely well with everyone making a few dollars to fund the next purchase of timber or a nice new toy. The President will discuss how this went at the meeting. The Expo is just around the corner and there are still a few blocks of coachwood available for those wanting to enter into the super foot challenge. The Christmas get together at the November meeting was a good opportunity to talk about upcoming woodworking plans and a time to have a good chin wag. Hopefully the next one will bigger and better than the last.
John Daniel has kindly sent me some photos of our recent Old Fire Station Sales. There was an amazing array of art, toys utilitarian pieces and tools on offer, the group should be very proud of its talent and workmanship.

D Collins to chase up Kiama Show Society regarding sponsorship of woodworking prizes.
M Purcell obtained a box of Carbatec catalogs – will keep them in the library cupboard, members are welcome to take one.
T Walsh has 11-ply plywood sheets if any members are interested. Also a filing cabinet, 1100x800mm mirror, Caesar Stone sink cutouts, and a microwave. Contact him if interested.
