PLANNING
Existing native hedgerow along site boundary retained and enhancedto provide a green infrastructure link. Pedestrian route provided withseating and fitness areas. Spaces defined by lines of native hedgerow,wildflower meadow and copses of native trees.
Area designed as a natural ecological park, enhancing local biodiversity and green infrastructure links. Playingfield provided for sports and passive recreation. Teen space, informal play routes and open lawn areas aredefined by wildflower meadow, native woodland planting, native hedgerows and copses of native trees.
Grass mounds, robust natural play equipment and copses of native treescreate interesting subspaces for informal and creative play. Small lawnareas provide space for passive and active recreation. Seating spaces aredefined by bands of ornamental planting and feature paving.
Open spaces to accommodate for a range of uses for apartment residents includingoutdoor seating, BBQ area and pergolas. Shrub and groundcover planting create agreen buffer between apartments and open spaces. Raised planters providesecondary seating and visual interest.
