Following on from the FPA’s and CFOA’s long-standing association with the UK’s premier Fire & Rescue conference, we are delighted to announce a special event for 2011 to create discussions and views towards a fire framework for the future. With the sector now having to look for innovative ways to carry out an increasing workload with less budget, this one-day summit will be an opportunity to share ideas and best practice, meet and network with key decision makers and influencers from the wider fire sector and be involved in shaping the future framework for fire.

The 2011 event entitled ‘The Future of Fire Summit’ will take place at the St John’s Hotel, Solihull, Birmingham and consist of five main themes:

• A new National Framework for the Fire and Rescue Service - Localism, Accountability and Transparency

• A new National Framework for the Fire and Rescue Service - Local and Sector Delivery of National Resilience

• Protection of the Built Environment

• Managing Risk in the Commercial Estate

• Protecting those at Highest Risk

The workshops will provide delegates with an opportunity to debate on specific issues - outcomes of which will be presented to the question time panel.

Please note your chosen workshop must be booked in advance.
