Our Condolences to Roberta McMahan, who's suffering the loss of her aunt, Melba Magill. Melba passed away on Sunday, Sept. 9. Please remember Roberta and her family in your prayers.
To the Taulbee Family who lost wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary Taulbee in a tragic car accident last Tuesday, Sept. 11. The viewing, followed by the memorial service, was held at KSDA Church Friday, Sept. 14. Please keep the Taulbee family in your prayers, and if you would like to show support, we have set up a meal train at: bit.ly/TaulbeeMealTrain.
Congratulations to Breawn and Stephen Schoun on the birth of their baby girl, Vivian Schoun. Vivian was born on Aug. 27, weighing at 8lbs 6oz, and measuring at 20.75 inches.
Marjorie Seasly's 99th Birthday will be Sabbath Sept. 22. A number of her friends are helping Marjorie celebrate by planning a special birthday potluck at 2Serv. If you would like to join in, please bring a dish to contribute to the meal.
Paula Waller wishes to thank everyone for all the prayers and the
families that sent her cards when she had surgery.
A Meal Train is available to support Marianne and Raymond Krause after the birth of Lyston Rose and the loss of her twin sister, Georgia Ray at: bit.ly/krausemealtrain.
Kairos Cookie Ministry is a ministry where we as a church bake cookies to take to the local prison in order to share a little light. We need at least 10 dozen traditional cookies (i.e. chocolate chip, m&m, etc.) and at least 5 dozen non-traditional cookies (i.e. rice crispy treats, fudge, brownies, etc.). The cookies are due to church by Sept 18. Separate cookies by 1 dozen in to gallon ziplock top bags (NO bags with the slide closures) and label the bags with the type of cookie they contain. For more information, contact Roberta McMahan at: [email protected].
Art: Out and About will be at Delco Park for the Honey Festival from 11am-4pm instead of meeting at the church this month. Come stop by and say hi, or stay for awhile. Delco park is located off of Dorothy Lane or Woodman at 1700 Delco Park Dr. Hope to see you there.
