So, WELCOME BACK! Hope all of you had a wonderful and relaxing summer and are ready to enjoy all of the people and activities of Newcomers and Neighbors. First, please mark your calendars for the second Thursday of September – SEPTEMBER 14th IS OUR FIRST MONTHLY MEETING 6:30 pm at the Community House. All future meetings will be held on the first Thursday of the month as usual. Our focus for the September meeting is The Search For Amelia Earhart. There has been much about this fascinating mystery in the news lately. Kennebunkport resident David Jourdan, founder of the deep-sea exploration company Nauticos, has conducted several expeditions (the most recent this past spring) to locate Earhart’s plane. He is the author of The Deep Sea Quest for Amelia Earhart (as well as books on other deep-sea searches for missing planes and ships). On Sept. 14th Dave will share with us the results of his expeditions and comment on other proposed solutions to this mystery. Bring your questions and theories! Singles can either host or be a guest. Several dinners will take place in several homes on the same evening.Dine Arounds are usually the third Saturday of the month.
