Kendriya Vidyalaya Kollam participates in Igniting Minds Project; organizes

exhibition on Kalam

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of late President Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam on 15.10.2015, 50

Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kollam participated in the interaction programme for students with

eminent scientists through Video Conferencing mode as a part of the Igniting Minds Project organized by

Vigyan Bharati.

There was also a unique exhibition in the Vidyalaya Campus as a part of Kalam’s

birth anniversary celebration. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Principal Mrs. Liziamma Daniel. The

exhibition entailed a display of Dr. Kalam’s inspirational quotes as well as paintings done by students

depicting important milestones in Klam’s life. A number of other programmes such as speech, Quiz, Poem

recitation etc.. were also held to pay tribute to Dr. Kalam.
