The Kaukauna Recreation Department is offering the enclosed programming for the summer of 2020. We intend to follow the guidelines and recommendations provided by the CDC and WEDC whenever possible to ensure that program participants are safe when participating in our programs. The COVID-19 Coronavirus Global Pandemic is not over and the disease is still spreading. Basic principles that will be followed include: 1. Patrons that are experiencing symptoms of a comunicable disease are encouraged to stay home. 2. Frequent hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and the use of alcohol based hand sanitizers is
strongly encouraged. 3. Social distancing at a distance of six (6) feet or more is encouraged whenever possible. 4. Wearing of a facemask is encouraged when possible. 5. Avoiding touching of ones face is discouraged. 6. Avoiding frequently touched surfaces and common use equipment encouraged. 7. Staff will be using facemasks, gloves and increased cleaning and sanitizing practices to reduce contact with the virus. 8. Normal Class sizes have been lowered for 2020 classes. 9. Some class durations have be decreased as well. 10. Some programs will require the assistance of parents in the class.

Your organization can be a part of helping us achieve our goal by placing a full color advertisement in these Program Guides. In addition to reaching potential customers, your ad tells citizens that you are committed to helping improve the quality of life for all Kaukauna residents and visitors. For more information on ad space availability and pricing, please contact the Recreation Department office at 920-766-6335.
