Porter MAXXI

Porter Maxxi, boasting a load capacity of

1,100 Kg, is the latest addition to the family.

Manoeuvrable and easy to drive, yet offer-

ing a load capacity comparable with work

vehicles that are much larger and more dif-

ficult to use. Ideal for the city, Maxxi is avail-

able in 4 different configurations and ready

for outfitting with a wide choice of special

equipment solutions.

Dual rear wheels, lengthened wheelbase

and reinforced chassis ensure total stability

even when fully loaded. The fixed bed and

tipper bed variants feature a large, all-flat

platform equipped with 40 cm high alloy

dropsides and tailboard, with ergonomic

retractable handles.

Porter Maxxi is now also available with the

new Piaggio Eco-Solution low environmen-

tal impact eco-friendly powertrains, offer-

ing a choice of petrol/LPG and petrol/meth-

ane* dual fuel engines.

incredible turning circle – just 4.6 metres compared with a category average of 5.3 metres – is

exploited to the full by the innovative EPS Electronic Power Steering system, which makes eve-

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY POWERTRAINSOngoing Piaggio research has developed a choice of eco-friendly, low environmental impact pow-

ertrains for the Porter range. This offers an indisputable advantage in the city and a competitive

edge for a commercial vehicle, allowing unrestricted access even with traffic restrictions and anti-

pollution measures in place in historical city centres. In addition to the conventional 1,300 cc Euro

4 petrol unit, Porter Maxxi is now also available with the Piaggio Eco-Solution low environmental

impact eco-friendly powertrains, offering a choice of petrol/LPG (Eco Power) and petrol/methane

dual fuel engines (Green Power)*.

INCREDIBLE PAYLOAD CAPACITYOne of the greatest strengths of the Piaggio Porter Maxxi is how it makes use of every inch of space avail-

able. Over 50% of the surface of the vehicle is destined for cargo transport, compared with an average

of 28% for its rivals. The long deck version has a load capacity of 1,120 Kg. The all-flat load bed features

two dropsides and a hinged tailboard and is completely free of obstacles, making loading and unloading

extremely easy.

NEW OUTSIDE, NEW INSIDE.Piaggio Porter Maxxi has been radi-

cally revised: with updated design,

equipment and interior trim levels.

The front boasts a Porter badge

set in relief in the grille and a new,

more decisive car-inspired look for

the lights and bumpers. Matching

the new design of the exterior is a

completely revised cabin: Piaggio's

designers have worked to improve

space and comfort even further,

resulting in the perfect solution for

tackling even the toughest jobs in

complete comfort. The driving posit-

ion and dashboard have been com-

pletely redesigned, while the new

instrument panel is more compre-

hensive and modern. Making life

easier for the driver are a number of

practical new oddment storage bins;

while the vehicle is also predisposed

for an Mp3 compatible car stereo

and a satellite navigator.

TRIM LEVELS: THE NEW EXTRA LEVEL NOW CATERS FOR EVEN THE MOST DISCERNING USER.

The new Porter Maxxi is available in two

trim levels. Joining the familiar standard

configuration Porter Maxxi, which offers

outstanding value for money, is the new

Extra version, with more complete levels

of equipment to cater for those who de-

mand comfort even when at work. The

new Extra trim level offers the following

uring a modern, functional design and

with integrated fog lights, electric power

Tipper bed

The tipper bed makes rapid loading

and unloading possible. Indispens-

able for construction businesses

working in historic city centres, Por-

ter MAXXI minimises handling and

transport times. Porter also boasts a

high-angle hydraulic tipper system,

a manually or automatically opening

tailboard and an all-flat platform for

optimised cargo space.

Reflecting its ongoing commitment to saving the environment and energy conservation, Piaggio

has developed the new Porter Eco-Solution range. Low environmental, eco-friendly powertrains

that produce less emissions and can even be used with traffic restrictions in place. When others

have to stop, Porter just keeps on working! In addition to a choice of conventional Euro 4 engines,

the vehicles in the Porter MAXXI range are also available as Eco-Power variants, featuring a dual

fuel petrol/LPG system with a sequential electronic injection system, and Green Power versions,

with a petrol/methane dual fuel system*.

The impressive agility and payload capacity of the Porter MAXXI range are further enhanced by the

advantages of a low environmental impact powertrain. Advantages for both the urban environment,

with significantly reduced emissions, and advantages in terms of productivity and profitability, with

exemption from traffic restrictions and reduced fuel costs. The dual fuel petrol/LPG system with

sequential electronic ignition, allows for increased range. In addition to being one of the cheapest

fuels available today, LPG contains no benzene, while its combustion produces no particulate and

only minimal emissions. And as a dedicated ecological vehicle instead of an aftermarket conver-

sion, Porter is also a guarantee of superior quality.
