How to Interpret the Upachaya Color Chart: If a transiting planet falls in any one of the Upachaya houses (1,3,6, 10 or 11) from the same planet in its natal position, it will show up as GREEN, which is good. For example, if the Sun is in the sign of Aquarius in the natal chart and the transiting Sun is going thru the sign of Scorpio, the transiting Sun falls in the 10th house from natal Aquarius in an Upachaya position and will therefore show up as GREEN. This worksheet is a culmination of many people's contributions. Both Ash and I wanted to make a total worksheet that did everything in one program instead of having to calculate the data from one place and enter it manually in another. DenisLaboure and Alan Ponsot contributed their French version of the worksheet which automated things even further. With their kind permission, I was able to revise and format this program to combine the two and translate it into English. We thank them both.

Sarajit Poddar was the creator of the entire automation of the planetary calculations that make it possible for you to enter your birth data and come up with the planetary placements for your chart. A special thanks to him for allowing Ash touse the code and adapt it to this program. Another special thanks goes out to Sanjay Prabharakan whose old worksheet had calculations for the Vimshottari Dasa that Ash used for this program as well.
