    Hi y'all! It's Spanky reporting in from the CampPisgah pasture. I arrived a few days ago and Ihave been so graciously helping my friend andfellow horse whisperer Kookaburra create someawesome masks that some of you will get todecorate at Pony Daze! I have been spending alot of time talking to the horses and they cannotwait for you all to get back. I'm super excited to

    In T-minus 31 hours we will officially kick off

    Camp Pisgahs very first Art-o-Rama Junior

    Encampment event. How exciting! Girls willpractice several art techniques, including

    shading, creating perspectives, using different

    toolspencil, charcoal, oil pastels, etc.and

    still drawing. In addition, if all goes as

    planned, girls will have the opportunity to

    make a variety of crafts, including friendship

    bracelets, basic jewelry, candles, and two

    Girl Scouts favorites- SWAPS and sit-upons!

    When were not being artsy and crafty,

    girls will channel their inner-Robin Hoods in anarchery challenge, take a ride on one of our

    beautiful horses and, if the weather decides

    to cooperate, take a splash in our junior Olympic-size swimming pool. So if

    everyone sends positive thoughts of no thunder and no rain out into the Universe, I

    think well be good to go! Cant wait to see you all here this Friday!

    Doodle Bugs - June 30-July 2

    For our young explorers and naturalists, thismini-adventure session lets you get downand dirty! Hang out at the lake to do somecreek-stomping exploration to learn aboutthe natural world around camp. And whenyouve had enough soggy, muddy fun, you

    can swim, play games, make nature craftsand do many other activities with yourdoodle buddies!

    All About Animals - July 14-19

    Would you like to play with goats, pigs and

    llamas? How about create animal crafts and

    take a trip to the zoo to learn about exotic

    creatures? If you are entering grades 4-6,

    you and your buddy will do all of that and

    more in this week-long program.

    In The Studio - July 21-Aug. 2

    This two-week art program for girls entering

    grades 8-12 will help you explore different

    paths to becoming an artist. Take walking

    tours of Brevards finest studios and learn

    from local artists. Polish your skills in print

    making, pottery, screen printing, book making

    and painting. Then choose your own project

    to complete and take home!

    What an exciting Brownie Encampment! There is still time to register your troop or daughter for Pony Daze. Girls will learn about our

    horses, take a ride in our newly designed ring, decorate pony masks to take home, and explore the rest of camp doing fun (and wet)

    activities with our enthusiastic staff. Well what about Daisies? Contact camp today to see how your littlest Girl Scouts can participate!

    Big Top Adventures!ig Top Adventures!Last weekend Gatsby and Fabio (or FAWB) joined forces with Tia and Chuck, longtime Camp PisgahAdventure facilitators, and staff from Camp Ginger Cascades and Keyauwee Program Center to shareideas for best practices for leading activities at the climbing wall and low ropes course. It would be an

    understatement to say they had a blast! Here are some random pictures from the weekend.
