Career History Assistant Site Manager – Story Homes – 2016 – PresentTo efficiently manage the field operations including controlling sub-contractors day to day operations and ensuring that material supplies are available in conjunction with the Site Manager. Managing quality standards to meet customer expectations. Assist the Site Manager in the planning and programming of site activities ensuring the work is completed in a safe manner. Deputise for the Site Manager when necessary.

Carry out frequent inspection of all operations to ensure they are carried out in a safe manner. Ensure all site personnel comply with the Construction Health and Safety Regulations 1974

as amended together with Story Homes Health and Safety Procedures. Provide direction to individual contractors and contractor’s management to ensure quality

standards are met. Plan and arrange visits of National House Builders Council inspection to carry out stage

inspections. Undertake regular inspection of each property during each stage of the build process and

issue defect sheets to the relevant trades. Ensure that at legal completion the house is defect free, clean and ready for occupation. Co-ordinating with the sales executive the resolution of customer issues. Ensure the availability of materials to meet the construction programme.

Responsible for the Health and Safety for the site and workforce personnel. To ensure that the build programme is kept to and any customer concerns are alleviated.

Ensure that all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to in accordance with legislation and company policy.

Liaise with customers and sub-contractors to organise work as needed to the highest standard.

Conduct meetings to ensure that all contractors and sub-contractors adhere to Bovis, NHBC build specifications and Health and Safety requirements.

Perform regular workplace inspections notifying the Site Manager of any corrective action required or unresolved area of concern.

Ensuring that the reporting procedures are adhered to for all accidents, incidents, near misses.

Assisting HSE or NHBC inspectors in the completion of documentation. Ensuring that inductions are carried out for new contractors and visitors and the relevant

paperwork completed. Deputise for the Site Manager in their absence. Forward planning of material orders to ensure no disruption to the build programme.

HR Manager - 13 AIR ASSAULT REGIMENT - 2012 – 2014Responsible for the manpower tracking of 600 personnel of all ranks within the Regiment. Ensuring that the data spread-sheets for the regimental manpower plans were kept up to date.
