I trust that my experiences as both Assistant Principal and Acng Principal, coupled with my dedicaon to the Kambrya College Community, will ensure connued improvement across all areas of the College. This is an excing me at Kambrya with 326 new Year 7 students joining us in 2017 we ancipate that our enrolment will be close to 1400. We will also be welcoming a number of new teachers to the team as the College grows. I would like to take this opportunity to share some of our 2016 atudinal data, as this is key to helping us to idenfy the priories and strategies for improvement moving forward. Parent Opinion Data Overall parents rate the College above the 90th percenle for School Improvement, closely followed by Approachability at the 88th percenle and General Sasfacon at the 76th percenle. There is much to celebrate. The increased focus on communicaon and associated transparency are one of many factors that underpin these posive results. Our newly formed Parents and Friends Group meet once a month and provide a forum on how to provide support to the school. Any parent who is interested in finding out more about this group should contact Mrs. Nalini Naidu at the College at the beginning of 2017. I am always open to hearing from any parent who has ideas about school improvement. Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am thrilled to be appointed to the position of Principal of Kambrya College. I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of our students, Caitlyn Navarra. Caitlyn was fortu-nate to be part of the Operation Newstart Program this year. Her hard work and dedication to the program were recognised with the Outstanding Achiever Award. Caitlyn would like to thank staff members of the program, as well as her brother Domi-nic and staff at Kambrya College.

As a reminder School Council met on Wednesday 14th September and discussed the implementation timeline for the new school uniform. Consequently, we are pleased to advise our community that the timeline has been revised and is reflective of the fact that many of our students still have another 6-12 months of wear out of their existing ‘original’ school uniform. It is important to note however that any student can opt into the new uniform at any point in time. The revised timeline is as follows:

Students in the relevant year levels will wear all aspects of the new uniform in the nominated year as per below
