The chart below shows the progress you can make with a Kaplan Aspect language course. On arrival at your school you will be given a proficiency test to enable our staff to place you in the correct class for your level of language ability. Regular progress tests during the course will then allow your teachers to monitor your level of improvement. Typically, students on an Intensive English course take just ten weeks to progress from one language level to the next.

Please note that 10 weeks per level is just a guide to average progress rates. We cannot guarantee an exact period of study over which specific language goals can be attained.

I did my internship as an office worker in Perth. I could use my English in a work environment and see the way people work in Australia. It was also a good opportunity to improve my English and a nice experience. It helped me to find a job when I came back to my country.Cécilia rodriguez, Switzerland Internship student in Perth

Torbay

Study on the English riviera! The popular resort of Torbay is comprised of the three charming seaside towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham on the Devon coast in south west England. The area’s warm microclimate, golden beaches, palm trees and stylish marinas have earned it the name of the English Riviera. Students are drawn here by the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, the beach life and water sports.

Kaplan Aspect’s partner school is situated just five minutes from the centre of Paignton, a friendly seaside resort with a stunning coastline of picturesque cliffs and safe, sandy beaches. The school offers excellent facilities including a student lounge, cafeteria, garden and a small bookshop.

Why choose this school? – Torbay is one of England’s most popular tourist areas with a relaxed,

friendly atmosphere– Study in an attractive, purpose built school– Enjoy sandy beaches and beautiful sub-tropical gardens

I’ve been studying in Torbay for two months. When I arrived here I felt that everything was new and unfamiliar, but now I am happy with everything: the teachers, the education programme, the accommodation, the excursions and my new foreign friends! So Hyun Lee, South Korea

A warm Irish welcomeDublin is an enterprising and prosperous city with a truly welcoming atmosphere. The Dubliners know how to enjoy life and the city buzzes with energy in its busy streets, cafés, pubs and clubs. The city also retains a strong cultural tradition in music, literature and dance and is home to Trinity College, one of the world’s finest universities.

Our school in Dublin is conveniently located in the city’s most popular area, Temple Bar. The school’s magnificent Georgian building overlooks the River Liffey and offers first-class facilities from a multimedia room with software library and free internet access to a recently refurbished student common room.

I now feel confident speaking to and understanding native speakers. I can tell that I speak more fluently as I no longer need to construct sentences in my head before I speak.

Study on Canada’s Pacific CoastBetween the Pacific Ocean and the North Shore Mountains you’ll find the stunning waterside city of Vancouver, ranked in the world’s top three for standard of living. The city is not just well-planned, clean and efficient, it’s also home to four beaches, beautiful recreational parks and vibrant neighbourhoods such as Gastown and Granville Island. Take advantage of the great climate to explore the beautiful national parks and try out the slopes at some of the world’s finest ski resorts.

Our centrally-located school is in a popular area of the business district, close to the main shops and the spectacular harbour. Student facilities include a multimedia computer centre with free internet access and a large outdoor terrace ideal for relaxing after class.

I chose to study at Kaplan Aspect because I liked the length of the classes and the flexibility of the programme. The small classes also appeal to me because I learn better with less people in the class.

Malta

The magic of the MediterraneanFor 7000 years, visitors have been drawn to this sun-drenched isle. The Romans, Turks and British were attracted by its strategic position between Europe and Africa. Today’s visitors are also drawn here by its stunning location. The island’s blue water harbours are brimful with colourful fishing boats, its hilltop citadels hide narrow streets and baroque bell towers, and unspoilt countryside surrounds its prehistoric temples. A beautiful coastline and the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean add the finishing touch.

Kaplan Aspect’s partner school is found near the marina in the attractive resort of Sliema, just a short bus ride from the island’s capital, Valletta. Facilities include a multimedia centre, TV/video room, a cafeteria and student lounge. Our students enjoy the island’s great water sports, a lively nightlife and even its popular tradition of horse racing!

Why choose this school? – Malta has a captivating history, beautiful beaches and a relaxed

island lifestyle– Practise your language skills with friendly, English-speaking

islanders– Great excursions to the neighbouring islands of Gozo and Comino
