Both teams had a convincing win over Mudgee High School while being defeated in their other games. Congratulations to all students for their enthusiasm and perseverance during each match. Task: Invent a new type of sport shoe

Students were asked to create a new sports shoe and provide infor-mation as to how that shoe works and how it is going to benefit the person wearing it.

The students were then asked to sell their invention in a one minute presentationto Mrs Simpson.

Artworks from Banksia Class Year 7 & 8 Banksia have been studying "faces" in art this term and completed a study on the works of artist Victor Nunes. Nunes, whose art works are famous for the use of any-thing he can get his hands on, inspired the class to create their own art using scrap materi-als and any resources at hand.
