ACTIVE AGEING Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)

Active ageing is the process of optimizing opportunities for health, participation and security in order to enhance quality of life as people age.

The word “active” refers to continuing participation in social, economic, cultural, spiritual and civic affairs, not just the ability to be physically active or to participate in the labour force. Older people who retire from work, ill

or live with disabilities can remain active contributors to their families, peers, communities and nations. Active ageing aims to extend healthy life

expectancy and quality of life for all people as they age.

In this Community Project ;-students take responsibility for their own learning,-they establish a positive, communicative relationship with their peers and teachers,-the more they understand the importance of pbl learning , the more they will be self-directed and high-performing.

KAL MARBLING ART ACTIVITY

The art of ebru, or marbling as it is known in English, is a mysterious art whose history and technique hold many secrets. By whom, when or how ebru was discovered is unknown. However, researchers agree that it originated in the city of Bukhara in Turkistan, and from here spread via the Silk Road to Persia, India and Anatolia.

We aim to help the elderly improve the emotional and mental health through

interactions with the youth.

UNCLE ASUR & HIS MARBLING ART

Asur amca expresses this experience as the dancing with watercolours to an eternity of art, and wonders whether the harmony of the colours is coincidental, or an act of divine inspiration...We think it’s a mysterious journey and a subtle art.The results of combining water and paint and your feelings never fail to surprise

The games and sports are an integral part of our life. We can never never ignore or neglect them in any way. As we are well aware of the fact that the games provide physical as well as mental fitness as if a person is physically fit then he could be mentally fit.

Gulfem:School games teach us to compete, to cooperate, to persist and to work hard toward a goal. Sports give us all the thigns needed for sucessful life.

Halenur:Sports and games teach usto be competitive and become a team member. It is a good way of making friends and having a social life.
