Leadership and Resiliency Programs – after school and weekend fun, healthy and safe activities for our kids. Components: resiliency groups, service learning, discovery activities

Trades Program – building, welding, small engine mechanics

On-the-land Canoe Program – all students learning water safety and proper paddling techniques

Enhance our Aboriginal Language & Culture (ALC) Programming

◦ Mr. Hamilton – part-time ALC Teacher working in the afternoons with Mrs. Fwasi. Increase and enhance our Culture Camps – Winter Fish Camp & Canoe Instruction and Day Trips. Wilideh language component in each classroom weekly

◦ Teach Teachers how to read Wilideh

◦ Train KDS teachers in First Aid, water safety and proper paddling techniques

◦ Trails of Becoming – teacher orientation to assist with Dene Kede curriculum
