Kaleidoscope the the employee newsletter of 100 % Employee-Owned for over 17 years March 24, 2017 Celebrating our 136 th anniversary! Annual Shareholders Meeting: Good or Bad News? This year, we had both. A great increase in the share price: $29.63 per share! This value is up $6.93 from last year's value of $22.70. But we also received the news that for 2017 things are not looking good, and we could even see a decline in the share price next year if we do not turn things around. We received great "Plant a Seed" ideas from all attending during the meeting. More on this subject next week. Our Condolences

Managers are looking ahead...

We extend our condolences to Fred Matteson (Atlanta) on the passing of his wife Ruby. Ruby was the office manager at KennicottChicago in the 1990's.

Before (and after) the ESOP dinner, our location managers met at our new Northbrook building to discuss the future of our company. Although Waukegan will not relocate to Northbrook until af-ter April, it was an uplifting experience for the man-agers to see the shiny new building with its many features. The meeting was a collaborative effort, fo-cused on how to better reduce costs and maintain our asking price for products. Be on the lookout for more details on steps we'll be taking to prevent our stock price from hitting a "glass ceiling."

Arnold's Movie ReviewGet Out

Chris and Rose have been dating long enough that they are going to meet her parents. But, this will be one time that he wished he hadn't.This is a unique movie being light horror with a sense of humor.

I give it three and a half roses.~ Arnold (Kennicott Chicago)
