Loving God | Loving Each Other | Loving One Another
Kia ora e te whānau,
What interesting conversations we have been having as we journey through the book of Ephesians together, and the last two Sundays have been no different - challenging us to think well about what God's ideal is and how that is outworked in our spaces. It is great to be part of a diverse whānau who can engage with one another in love, despite our differences, as we 'learn Christ' together (thanks Carmen - listen to her message from May 5 if you haven't...it is excellent!).
This week we get to celebrate who God has made us, and is making us, as a whānau as we celebrate our 39th birthday. We will be having a family service, followed by a message from Dominic, and then at 11:30am we will have a whānau forum where the strategic leadership team will give us an update on some of the things they floated
earlier in the year and where they see things going based on what Wairua Tapu has been doing amongst us. The Redwood Connect group will also be providing us with lunch so we can stay and eat together. We would love to have you all join us. Nau mai, haere mai.
Aroha nui,
Andy

Na, kia rite ta koutou ki ta te Atua, kia pera me ta
nga tamariki e arohaina ana; Haere hoki i runga i
te aroha, kia pera me te Karaiti i aroha ki a tatou,
i tuku i a ia ano mo tatou hei whakahere, hei
patunga tapu ki te Atua, hei kakara pai.
Ephesians 5:1-2
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the
way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant
offering and sacrifice to God.
