You will also need:3-1/4 yards for backing

- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 43” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!
From Fabric A, cut:one 22” x 42-1/2” panel
From Fabric B, cut:four 4-3/4” squares, cut on point
From Fabric C, cut:three 4-3/4” squares, cut on point

From Fabric D, cut:one 4-3/4” x WOF strip. Subcut: seven 4-3/4” squares
From each of Fabrics E and F, cut:two 3-7/8” x WOF strips. Subcut: fourteen 3-7/8” squares. Cut each square in half once on a diagonal.
From Fabric G, cut:two 4-1/2” x WOF strips. Trim to 42-1/2” long.two 4-3/4” x WOF strips. Trim to 42-1/2” long. three 3-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim to yield: two 3-1/2” x 50-1/2” strips From the binding fabric, cut:six 2-1/2” x WOF strips
Step 1: Sew a Fabric F triangle to opposite sides of a 4-3/4” Fabric D square. Press seam allowances toward the triangles. Repeat on remaining sides of the Fabric D square. Trim the SIAS block to 6-1/2” square. Repeat to make seven blocks in these fabrics.
Assemble the Square in a Square Blocks (SIAS)

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 with Fabric E triangles and Fabric B and C squares. Repeat to make a total of seven blocks.
Step 3: Gather four blocks from Step 1, two Fabric B blocks from Step 2 and one Fabric C block from Step 2. Arrange and sew together following the order shown in the top of the Quilt Assembly Diagram. Press the seams open or to one side.
Step 4: Gather three blocks from Step 1, two Fabric B blocks from Step 2 and two Fabric C blocks from Step 2. Arrange and sew together following the order shown in the bottom of the Quilt Assembly Diagram. Press the seams open or to one side.

Step 5: Sew a 4-3/4” x 42-1/2” Fabric G strip to the top and bottom edges of the Fabric A panel. Press toward the strips.
Step 6: Sew the assembled Step 3 unit to the top of the quilt center. Press toward the Fabric G strip.
Step 7: Sew the assembled Step 4 unit to the bottom of the quilt center. Press toward the Fabric G strip.
Step 8: Sew a 4-1/2” x 42-1/2” Fabric G strip to the top and bottom edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips.
Step 9: Sew a 3-1/2” x 50-1/2” Fabric G strip to the side edges of the quilt. Press toward the strips.
Your quilt top is complete! Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
