Nanokomposit dari Zinc Oxcida (Zn0) dan silika (Si0) telah diproduks°i dengan spray drying campuran koloid Z,nO koloid Zn0 dibuat melalui hidrolisis zinc asetat di dalam pelarut etanol yang kemudian : -err litium hidroksida. Koloid ZnO yang mengandung partikel berukuran nano dicampur wrtevtu, kemudian di atomisasi menggunakan nebulizer ultrasonik clan drkeringkan alcnrr aliran gas nitrogen. Serbuk yang dihasilkan memperlihatkan ketidabergantungan spektrum luminisensi terhadap waktu, yang sangat penting bagi aplikasi industri.
