On December 9, Mrs. Schneider’s The-atre Arts Class performed an excerpt from the play called, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”The play was about menacing kids who did not know the true meaning of Christmas and did not want to participate in the Nativity Scene that happened every year. After finding out the true mean-

ing of Christmas the kids had a change of heart and were finally up for doing the traditional Nativity Scene. The play consisted of humorous scenes and entertaining dialogue. The actors themselves were a great entertainment for the elementary kids. They put in a lot of effort in making the kids laugh and enjoy every minute of the play.

Great thanks to Mrs. Sch-neider and her students for making the play enjoyable. “The students were excited to do a Christmas play that would appeal to ev-eryone from Pre-K through 12th grade. Being a class of hams, it was easy for these students to get excited and involved in pulling off a production in three weeks” exclaimed Mrs. Schneider.

Christmas Musical

The elementary kids show their Christmas spirit.

On December 03, 2009, the elementary kids

paticipated in the annual Christmas musical,

instructed by Ms. Hollie Walters. Like every year, kids and parents alike were eager to see how the show turned out. It was a success! Students dressed up as penguins and reindeer and had a fun time while singing at the top of their lungs. Senior Jose Chavez stated,“The musical was well prepared and the kids were phenominal.” Pre-K thru

fourth grade sang “It’s Showtime,” “I Pledge Allegiance”, “Star Spangled Banner”, and “You Are My Sunshine.” First and second

sang “Shout” and “Rock and Roll.” Second and third grade sang “Merry Christmas Bells” and “Penguins.” Fourth grade sang “Over the River” and Symphonic Over-

ture.” “I thought the kids did an amazing job and it was great to see

all the parents there supporting the music program,” stated Ms. Hollie Walters. Great job,

Elementary!
