Many of our members in both capacities have developed Harvest of the Month programs at their schools, and promotional newsletters.

ERIC WILLIAM SCHWEITZER

February 5, 2015Eric William Schweitzer, 62, passed away at home sur-rounded by family on Febru-ary 5th, after a long fight with cancer. Born July 4, 1952 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to Warner Paul and Barbara Jane (U’ren) Schweitzer. Eric was a long time resident to Wisconsin. As a child his family moved several times throughout the state, but he always considered Ashland, Wisconsin his home. He graduated High School from Ashland in 1970. Eric then attended college at Univer-sity of Wisconsin-Madison for a short time. Then, Eric moved to Richland Center, Wisconsin where he was an active Volunteer Firefighter for the County as well as an over the road truck driver for Mercury Industries. Eric met his wife Carol Jean Bethke, who he married on February 14, 1980. Eric and Carol had 4 children. Eric had a passion for truck driving and in July of 1992 he started his journey with Walmart Transportation. In 1998, Walmart gave Eric the opportunity to transfer. He accepted the position and moved his family to Clin-ton, MO. He was proud of his job and worked for Walmart Transportation for 20 plus years, but with everything that Eric did, his greatest

achievement was his fam-ily! Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean (Bethke); his mother, Jane Schweitzer; his son, DJ Mueller; 3 daughters: Kristina Mueller, Kimberly Schweitzer and Melissa Sch-weitzer; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters, 3 brothers and sever-al nieces and nephews. Eric was proceeded in death by his father, Warner Paul Sch-weitzer. A memorial for Eric will be held at Alana Springs, in Richland Center, Wiscon-sin on June 26, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
