Common Bulletin Insert Chatham-Kent CRC’s Sunday, June 14, 2015 PRAYER LIST FIRST CHURCH: Happy birthday to Mr. George Holthof, who is turning 85 on the 15th, to Mrs. Rita Veldboom, who is turning 73 on the 16th, and to Mr. Herman Vellinga, who is turning 74 on the 17th. Congratulations to our graduates at various levels of schooling. May you experience God’s special grace as you prepare for new adventures, as you move on to new levels of learning, and to all our students as you continue in your life’s ambitions. We pray that your summer be safe and enjoyable. Grace Counsell had been admitted to hospital suffering from an infection but has returned to Copper Terrace now. She is very tired and needs much rest. Jean Singor was also admitted to hospital with an abscess, but was expected to return home earlier this week. Pray for our seniors and those who are shut-in. GRACE CHURCH: John and Tina Tolsma would like to thank everyone for their thoughtful acts of kindness and most importantly their prayers in John's recent struggle with his health. Ray Bouma underwent surgery in London on Friday, June 5, to repair an aortic aneurysm. The surgery went well and Ray is recovering in hospital but is looking forward to returning home soon. On June 26th, Shena DeBoer will be admitted to Victoria Hospital in London for carotid surgery. This is a stroke- prevention measure. We ask for your prayers, thank you, Hank and Shena DeBoer We continue to pray for the post-surgical recovery of Gertie Wissink. The healing is progressing well and her mobility is slowly improving. We offer our Christian sympathies to Cornelie and Willem Ligthart and family with the passing of Cornelie’s grandmother in The Netherlands last Thursday. May you experience the comfort of God and the family of believers during this time. As a congregation, we offer our warmest wishes to Nathan and Esther Wiersma, who were married yesterday afternoon at Grace CRC. May God bless your life together with His gracious abundance as you serve Him together!

    CHURCH COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS Soccer Camp Prayer Partners: We are asking all the prayer partners (and anyone else who is interested in praying) for soccer camp, to come to a Prayer meeting on June 16, 2015, at 7:30 at Grace CRC. When we work, we work. When we pray, God works. Required Abuse Prevention Training for SC4C Volunteers: Following this, there will be an opportunity for all volunteers to complete the mandatory abuse prevention training. Only soccer camp volunteers over the age of 18 who will be working directly with the campers will be required to take the training. This training only needs to be taken once per year (many of you already completed this this past fall), and can be done through your home church as well. Any questions, email Susan Dieleman at [email protected]. Chatham Christian Schools Grade 8 Graduation is coming up! Join us as we celebrate with the Class of 2015 at the CCS gym, on Monday the 15th of June at 8:00pm. All are welcome to attend. The CCHS Graduating Class of 2015 (Grade 12) cordially invites you to attend their graduation ceremony. The ceremony will take place at Chatham Christian School gym, on Tuesday the 23rd of June at 8:00pm. Invitations for graduates grandparents are available at the main office.
