Prayer to St. Joseph

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ Our Lord, so that, having en-gaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer

my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for me.

In Honor of the year of St. Joseph The Bishop would like at least two boats from each St. Joseph church

parish in the Diocese. If you would like to join in the procession, please let Fr. Jude know so that

your boat can be registered.

Prayer for Vocations

O God, we earnestly ask You to bless this diocese with many priests, broth-ers, and sisters who will love you with their whole strength and gladly spend their entire lives to serve Your church and to make You known and loved.

Bless our families, bless our children, choose from our homes those needed

for your work. Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us, pray for our

priests, religious, and deacons. Obtain for us many more.

We’re in the process of getting things together to begin our religion classes for St. Michael and St. Joseph. As of now, our class days and times will remain the same, with St. Michael meeting on Tuesdays and St. Jo-seph on Wednesdays. Confirmation classes will continue on Sunday afternoons. With that being said, we are

in need of teachers for grades 5, 8 and 9 for St. Michael and grades 3, 6 and 9 for St. Joseph. Call the office if you can help. Registration forms will be available, in the foyers of both churches and in the church office, sometime in the middle of August. Follow the bulletin for more information as it is posted.
