BLESSED TRINITY MISSION STATEMENT Washed by the waters of the sea and blessed with generations of faithful worship we, a trinity of churches:

Saint Edmund, Saint Genevieve and Saint Thomas More, stand united in our mission. To embrace the presence of Christ in our community and strive to assist all to deepen their relationship with the Lord. To

seek to be a parish of service and comfort to all. To commit ourselves to be a vessel through which our Catholic heritage and traditions may be preserved and grow so that our parish may flourish in the Spirit of

the Lord.

Dear Parishioners: We continue to progress through the Covid-19 pandemic. With the State and City moving through their own phases, the Diocese remains stuck (for whatever reason) at the 25% capacity rule. At this time you should keep in mind that the Masses are hitting capacity each weekend so arrive early. St. Thomas More is now nearing capacity. St. Genevieve 4pm and 9am are at capacity. St. Edmund Masses are all at capacity.

REGARDING OUR CHILDREN AND FIRST SACRAMENTS:

First Penance will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 in St. Thomas More Church with only the child and parents in attendance. Additional family members and friends can participate through the Live Stream.

First Holy Communion (for the 2020 class) will be celebrated Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11am in St. Thomas More Church. Immediate family will be in attendance and others can participate through the Live Stream. Confirmation scheduled for December 2020 for the incoming 8th grade Confirmation Class has been moved to April 2021 where the confirmation class is now required to attend a full year of instruction prior to receiving the sacrament. I hope this helps finalize some of the questions that many had. Have a great week. -Fr. Gelfant
