Independence Day Community Worship

will be Sunday, July 1st at the Presbyterian Church in King City @

11:00 A.M.

A meal will be held following the service at the Presbyterian Church

with a free-will donation. There will be free swimming 1-7 p.m. at

the King City Pool . Meal and swimming sponsored by the King City

Swim Club.

Menu-Pork burgers or hot dog, slaw, beans, chips, dessert & a drink..

ANGELS PART 3

Author Dave Early talks about how Angels do not compare

with Jesus Christ. The main point of the book of Hebrews

is that Jesus is better than anything else out there. No one

or no thing compares to Him, not even angels. He is su-

preme. Jesus’ person and name are far superior to the an-

gels Heb. 1:4. Jesus is worthy of worship from angels. 1:6

Angels are not to be worshipped, but were created to lead

us to worship God. Paul warned against the futility of wor-

shipping angels and getting overly caught up in angel sight-

ings in Colo. 2:18. We were created to worship God, not

His servants. They are amazing beings. They are smarter,

faster, stronger, and more beautiful than any of us.

They are so impressive that twice even the apostle John

tried to worship them. But in both cases, the angels told

him not to worship them. But he said to me, “Do not do

it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers

who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God!” Why

not stop what you are doing right now and worship the

One who is superior to the angels? Worship Jesus Christ.
