In this latest issue of “Optimum”, Renault Trucks is
setting out to explore different continents and
demonstrate its commitment and local presence.
The first stop is in Africa, where, as part of its
partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP)
Renault Trucks staff members volunteer to organise
training workshops. Although the African continent is
among the most prominent examples of Renault Trucks’
commitment, our range of vehicles also attracts attention
in Europe: in Venice, for example, the Brusato Trasporti
haulage company has chosen the Range D to create a
link between land and sea. While in Poland, the Range T
is particularly appreciated by our clients.
You will also have the opportunity of discovering
a new model in this issue, the Renault Trucks C Xload,
the champion for payload in its category.
From alternative fuels to the latest product innovations,
these pages will keep you updated on all the latest news
from Renault Trucks.
We hope you enjoy reading this issue!

RENAULT TRUCKS TRIUMPHS OVER MOROCCAN TERRAIN
The 2016 Libya Rally, which took place between 14 and 21 April 2016, finished in style for the MKR Technology team and Renault Trucks, with the Mammoet team winning the seventh and last leg of the competition (Tendrara – Saïdia, 290 km). A challenge that enabled the MKR team to prove its efficiency and gave Renault Trucks the opportunity of demonstrating its vehicles’ reliability.
Every year, the British magazine Commercial Motor makes a comparative survey of variousvehicles. More than just a workingspace, cabs offer long-distance driversa real living area where comfort, as well as fittings, really count. After anight of trials, the Renault Trucks T 520Maxispace was voted the best cab in 2016.
IN BRIEF
CLIENT RELATIONS
RENAULT TRUCKS, FRAIKIN’S “BEST SUPPLIER”Renault Trucks has just been voted Best supplier for 2015 by the Fraikin Group, Europe’s leading industrial and commercial vehicle hire company. After carrying out a survey among its teams, Renault Trucks, which makes up 10% of the Group’s total fleet, was singled out from 23 other suppliers for the quality of its client relations and respect for its commitments.
9,200 kgThe unladen weight of the Renault Trucks C Xload, confirmed by the French certifying authority UTAC. This makes it the champion for unladen weight in its category. At the same time, it also tops the payload rankings, since it can carry up to 8 m³ of concrete.
BODIED OFFERING
“READY FOR BUSINESS” RENAULT MASTER EURO 6 The UK bodied offering, “Ready for Business”, launched in September 2015 has already cut lead times and simplified ordering of factory-mounted bodies. From September 2016, Renault Trucks will be offering factory-ready tipper, dropside and Luton Euro-6 ready-bodied vehicles with full support and warranty.
RENAULT TRUCKS T VERSION 2016
EVEN MORE SAVINGSThree years after launching the Renault Trucks T, the model is now being upgraded with a new version that will further increase hauliers’ profitability. New aerodynamic features and lower weight enable the Renault Trucks T to reduce consumption by as much as 2%, while at the same time increasing its payload by 114 kg.

After an initial experience in 2012 and 2013, why did you decide to extend the partnership until 2017? Nenad Grkovic – In 2011, the WFP
asked Renault Trucks to help us set up
instructional programs at our African bases
in Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, South Sudan
and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In all the countries where we operate,
trucks provide the final link in the logistics
chain that allows us to reach vulnerable and
isolated populations. Weather conditions
are invariably extreme, roads are in a very
poor state of repair and vehicles have to
meet challenging demands. The staff we
recruit locally does not always have the
experience needed to maintain and repair
them. Renault Trucks agreed to set up a
corporate patronage instructional system
based on voluntary participation throughout
Europe.
The pilot scheme, which ran in 2012 and
2013, was devoted to HGV mechanical
maintenance with the aim of raising all the
mechanics to the same level of competence.
On board a Renault Kerax 6x6, equipped
with a mobile classroom, the Renault Trucks
instructors made their way across
5 countries to pass on the latest repair
and maintenance techniques. Inside the
vehicle, a repair workshop, as well as
a Renault Trucks vehicle engine, made it
possible to clearly indicate all the parts
involved and carry out demonstrations.
This new partnership, starting in 2015, will
be designed to train fleet managers and
workshop controllers. Altogether, 150 people
will benefit from this programme between
now and 2017, via 11 training sessions in
seven countries: the Democratic Republic of
Within the context of the partnership between Renault Trucks and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), a number of Renault Trucks staff members volunteer to go to Africa to lead training workshops. We interviewed Nenad Grkovic, the logistics manager for the WFP fleet.

Congo, Niger, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia,
Chad and Uganda.
Why did you choose Renault Trucks to help you? N. G. – Our fleet of trucks, 785 of which
belong to the World Food Programme,
include vehicles for challenging terrains
that Renault Trucks are very familiar with.
We were looking for a partner with solid
experience in mechanics, capable of
providing “turnkey” training programmes
and ready to go out into the field to train
local personnel. Renault Trucks
immediately gave us access to its training
centres in France and Ghana, setting up
a programme adapted to meet our staff’s
needs. The volunteer employees, who
trained our teams, showed a great deal
of flexibility and adaptability, despite the
invariably difficult travel conditions.
Furthermore, it is important to remember
that the countries we operate in are
politically and economically unstable.
At the end of this three-year period, we are
planning to train local instructors who
will be able to continue the work that
Renault Trucks has been able to begin.
What benefits has this partnership brought? N. G. – Feedback from the field has been
very positive. Apart from the purely
mechanical aspects, those taking part
discover the challenges of eco-driving and
want to continue making progress. They feel
that we believe in them, and that we are
investing in the future. The certificate they
receive at the end of the training highlights
their skills and can subsequently help them
find a new job if the WFP leaves their
country at the end of its humanitarian
mission, or if they wish to work in another
country where the WFP is operating.
As far as Renault Trucks is concerned, the
volunteer staff members who work in teams
of two are proud of applying their skills
to a humanitarian cause. The discussions
between European Training teams and
our staff members are highly enriching,
since everyone learns from each other.
The instructors do their very best to ensure
that their apprentices genuinely benefit
from their training.
Thanks to its presence and technical
expertise in Africa, Renault Trucks does
everything to keep our vehicles on the road
and therefore ensure that the World Food
Programme’s operations can continue
smoothly.

1 LIGHT AND POWERFULThe Renault Trucks
C Xload is designed to
meet the issues encountered
when transporting concrete.
All aspects of the vehicle have
been meticulously examined
to reduce weight as much as
possible. As a result, the
Renault Trucks C Xload
has many parts made of
aluminium, such as the hub
caps, Diesel tank and air tank.
This translates into weight
savings of 587 kg(1) for a total
unladen weight of 9,200 kg
– a value certified by the
French UTAC organisation –
2 COMFORTABLE AND RELIABLEThe Renault Trucks
C Xload cab uses the same
architecture as the long haul
range to offer drivers a
maximum degree of comfort;
all controls are within easy
reach, plus adjustable seats
and steering wheel to provide
a spacious driving position.
As far as safety is concerned,
Renault Trucks offers a new
function on its Nav’Truck
application: the Mixer Rollover
Alert. Specially designed for
concrete transporters, this
function issues warnings on
concrete mixer vehicles in the
event of danger, bearing in
mind that every year, between
10 and 15 accidents of this
type occur in Europe. With this
function incorporated into
Nav’Truck, the driver enters
details concerning load
volume, type of concrete being
carried and the itinerary.
During the journey, alerts are
then issued – orange or red
according to the situation –
whenever the vehicle is
approaching a bend or
roundabout at an unsafe
speed.

and a payload of 8 m³. Thanks
to chassis reinforcements
in areas bearing the most
weight, the Renault Trucks

“My grandfather set up
this company in
1955. At the time,
he rented out
rowing boats. My
father then changed
the business into a goods delivery company
operating between land and the lagoon.
In 1996, I took over the family business and,
with my wife, we gave our sphere of
activities a new boost.” Brusato Trasporti
now has a workforce of 46, operates
22 boats, 3 vehicles and has 2 main offices
– administrative and logistic – in Venice.
“We have proved that even in Venice, a city
with a somewhat old-style aspect, can still
be a place for setting up a flourishing
and modern company.” 45-year-old
Massimiliano Brusato does not hide his
pride of being at the head of this company,
which has exclusive distribution rights to
UPS packages throughout the lagoon. “We
also carry every kind of goods: domestic
appliances, fresh and frozen foodstuffs,
beverages, etc. We handle removals for
businesses and private individuals, as well
as providing funereal transport.” Quite an
achievement, in a city where cars never have
and never will play an important role, where
every island is linked by a bridge and some
canals are not much wider than a gondola.
SEEKING THE IDEAL VEHICLE“To provide the transport of packages and
goods, we were looking for a vehicle as
robust as an HGV, as manoeuvrable as a
lightweight vehicle and that could also be
driven by anybody,” explains Massimilano
Brusato. “I asked a colleague for his
opinion, and he recommended the
Renault Trucks Cab D 2 m. I always trust
the opinion of a professional and I was not
wrong.” After several months of use, the
new Renault Trucks D Cab 2 m has already
proved its worth.
“Our field of activity is the lagoon. To carry
out deliveries in Venice, the Renault Trucks
D Cab 2 m provides the essential link
between land and sea transport. It must be
efficient, sturdy, manoeuvrable and
reliable,” stresses Massimiliano Brusato.
In Venice, the Brusato Trasporti company has chosen the Renault Trucks Range D to make the connection between land-based and seaborne transport, enabling it to carry out its deliveries into every part of the Venetian lagoon.

A bolted steel chassis with HGV type
U-profile side members gives the
Renault Trucks D Cab 2 m outstanding
load capacity and robustness.
COMFORTABLE AND MANOEUVRABLEMarco, 45 years old, has been working at
Brusato Trasporti for 9 years. He is the
new vehicle’s driver. From Monday to
Friday, he gets to Marghera, the industrial
park 10 km outside Venice, at 7 AM to pick
up the packages due for delivery within the
day. He then drives to the “tronchetto”,
where the various parcels are transferred,
by hand, to the boats at the quayside.
Marco admits that he is not only impressed
by the Renault Trucks D Cab 2 m’s sturdy
build, but also by its manoeuvrability and
comfort. “I cover 45,000 km a year,” he
states. Thanks to the cab’s compactness,
“The vehicle is very practical when it
comes to manoeuvring and negotiating
all those narrow passages and streets.
It really can go just about anywhere!”
“The engine does everything you ask it to
do, and the vehicle gives you a feeling of
stability and power. It makes work a real
pleasure.”
“Thanks to the step and hand grip, getting
into and out of the cab is very easy. The cab
interior is roomy and offers several storage
spaces. It is well soundproofed and features
an automatic air conditioning system,
which will be very useful this summer.
All the controls are within easy reach
on the dashboard and steering wheel.
Furthermore, the on-board computer
display is bright and intuitive, which helps
me keep focused on the road ahead.”
Around 5 PM, Marco looks out over
the lagoon, he is waiting for the boats
returning from Venice with new packages
to deliver. On board his Renault Trucks
D Cab 2 m, he gets ready for the return trip
to Marghera.
“For me and for the company, having a
reliable, robust and manoeuvrable vehicle
is already a profit centre,” concludes
Massimiliano. “It helps avoid a great many
problems. And avoiding problems helps
me make money.”
The Renault Trucks D Cab 2 m is as robust
as an HGV and as manoeuvrable as a van.”

BLOOMFIELDS GALLOPS AHEAD WITH ROBUST RENAULT MASTER
Bloomfields, the elite name
in horsebox manufacture
for professional and amateur
riders, has selected the
Renault Master as its main
chassis partner for the first
time. The 3.5 tonne long wheelbase platform
cabs are being supplied by Renault Trucks’
approved East Midlands dealer,
RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV), and will
be used to build Bloomfield’s premium
Legacy range.
FAST TRACK APPROVALThe company, whose customers include
grass roots Pony Club riders right through
to national and international show jumpers
and eventers, gained a rapid six month
European Whole Vehicle Type Approval
with Renault Master in stark contrast
to the three years it has taken with other
manufacturers. The Legacy range, which also
has full DEFRA approval, is sold across the
UK and Europe including leading equestrian
nations, Holland, Belgium, France and
Germany.
Bloomfield’s owner, Dean Moody, who is
himself a horse owner and a qualified vehicle
body technician, says: “Our business is
booming, Renault Trucks and RHCV have been
extremely responsive partners, providing
first class service and technical support,
as well as manufacturing what we think
is the most reliable and long lasting vehicle
on the market.”
ROBUST & REINFORCEDDean continues: “The Renault Master
generally feels more robust and, together with

we have a vehicle that is as strong and as safe
as possible for both passenger and horse.”
Bloomfield’s in-house technicians have
specifically designed a fibreglass partition
for this vehicle, and the new sliding partition
means that the position is more flexible
for the owner as it can be adjusted with
one hand.
For RHCV, the project has been led by Edward
Baxter from the company’s Nottingham site
who worked closely with the Bloomfields team
to deliver the Renault Master chassis to their
exacting specification.
However, the last word must go to Dean,
who says: “Overall, we are absolutely delighted
with our new Renault Master chassis and
hope the Legacy range is the most attractive
on the market for horse owners.”

Built to Anglian Timber’s exacting
specification to carry its custom-built roof
trusses, the Range D’s special flat platform
body, produced by Norfolk-based Harvey
Coachbuilders, has a low ride height of just
1 metre from ground to floor to meet height
restrictions for bridges and power cables.
HASSLE-FREE This is the first Renault truck to join Anglian
Timber’s fleet of 5 specialist vehicles.
Director, Roger Steed, found local dealer,
Renault Trucks Felixstowe, extremely
committed to supply the specialist vehicle
required to deal with the demands
of the operation and height requirements.
“Renault Trucks, together with Harvey
Coachbuilders, was definitely our best
option,” he says. “They took the time
to understand our requirements and
subsequently provided a truck which
is perfect for our needs.”
READY FOR BODYBUILDING The Range D is designed to simplify
bodybuilding with a chassis pre-equipped for
every application, as Gary Harvey, Harvey
Coachbuilders discovered. “We’ve been
working with Anglian Timber for over 25 years
and we discussed their requirements very
closely,” he explains. “Our job was to produce
a specialist, bespoke body with the minimum
floor height and Renault Trucks helped us to
achieve this with ease.” Gary continues: “The
particular advantage in using the Range D is
that the chassis is configured in such a way
that it is designed to keep everything low.
In addition, it was extremely straightforward
to achieve the Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA)
which made the whole process hassle-free.
HIGH LOADLOW RIDER
FULL SERVICE Anglian Timber’s roof truss service offers
a full design and delivery service for new build,
refurbishment or roof extension. The Range D,
on a 5-year full rental through BRS Ltd, carries
custom-built roof trusses from Anglian
Timber’s factory in Wix, Essex, to building sites
across Norfolk, Kent, Sussex, London,
Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire. For Peter Todd
of Renault Trucks Felixstowe, this is an
important conquest that underlines the
flexibility of the rugged and reliable Range D
for specialist applications. He comments: “As
well as being an extremely robust vehicle, the
Range D is designed with numerous mechanical
and electrical pre-equipment to simplify the
bodybuilding operation so it’s great that Harvey
Coachbuilders found it so straightforward – we
very much look forward to working with both
companies again in the future.”
Delivering roof trusses to building sites can be challenging; trucks must be durable, manoeuvrable and, critically, must comply with height restrictions en route. For Anglian Timber, the solution is an 18 tonne Renault Trucks Range D 18 Wide 4x2 low 280 with specialist flat platform body.
Height clearance: Anglian Timber’s low ride height Renault Trucks D is just 1 metre from ground to floor.

MacWilliam Demolition’s
striking red-cabbed
32 tonne K 430 8x4, fitted
with a Hyva Hookloader
(Hyvalift 32.5600 c/w
Hyva Autosheet system),
operates in some of the most challenging
conditions, working on demolition,
construction and landfill sites across
Scotland.
The Range K’s robust chassis and good
ground clearance were key to Managing
Director Craig MacWilliam’s decision to
purchase the company’s first Renault truck.
BEST VALUE OVERALL Following a thorough vehicle evaluation
and selection process, Craig, who is also
Chariman of the National Federation of
Demolition Contractors for Scotland and
Northern Ireland, says: “The Range K stood
out straight away, and the driver was
immediately smitten. One thing that really
appealed was the smooth acceleration and
responsiveness, more like the gentle
acceleration of a car than a truck. Crucially
I felt that the Range K offered the best value
overall, it was a great performer and came
from a highly reputable manufacturer.”
Based in Coatbridge, MacWilliam
Demolition works for commercial,
industrial and local authority clients and
is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Setting new standards in terms of
robustness, obstacle clearance capacity
and pulling power, the Range K is
particularly suited to meet the needs of
customers like MacWilliam Demolition,
which operates in challenging
environments. The Range K, with its
rigorously tested components, 100% steel
bumper, headlamp protection grills and
reinforced protection for all exposed parts
of the cab, is already proving more than up
to the job. For MacWilliam’s drivers,
the Range K’s spacious day cab makes for
a more comfortable working environment.
“The new vehicle has been on the road for
a few weeks and we already know we made
the right decision,” says Craig. “We are
noticing better acceleration under load and,
whilst we are still calculating the exact
fuel consumption figures, we are seeing
an improvement compared with the
previous vehicles.”
The toughest jobs demand the toughest trucks and, for Lanarkshire’s MacWilliam Demolition Ltd, the rugged Renault Trucks K is the ideal vehicle to meet growing demand for its business.

GOOD RELATIONSA strong relationship with Renault Trucks’
approved distributor, Thompson
Commercials Boston, was central to
Overland Transport’s decision to bring
a new Range T into its fleet.
Rob Page says: “We have a fantastic local
dealer and get on really well with their
salesman, Richard Laws-Chapman.
Renault Trucks has always shown a keen
interest in our business and let us know about
any new vehicles and provided demonstrators
for us to trial.”
All Overland Transport’s Renault trucks are
fully maintained by Thompson Commercials,
ensuring a reliable, well presented service
that continues to drive this independent,
family business’ success.
For Overland Transport, specialists in the
movement of temperature controlled
produce and dry freight across the UK and
Western France, a modern, well-maintained
fleet is essential to meet service level
demands of customers on both sides
of the Channel.
A loyal customer of Renault Trucks for
18 years, Overland Transport values reliable,
robust and fuel efficient trucks, so the
decision to bring the first 44 tonne Range
T 460 6x2 tractor unit onto the six-strong
fleet was a natural step. As well as delivering
exceptional fuel economy in harsh driving
conditions, the new Range T is specified with
a 4.1m wheelbase to carry larger fuel tanks
to keeping refuelling to a minimum on
time-sensitive operations.
Driver comfort is also a key factor for
Transport Manager, Rob Page. “Our drivers
are out on the road for 7-10 days at a time,
it’s imperative that they are happy,” says Rob.
“The Range T’s bigger cab, superior dash
layout and quiet engine, together with the
ever-efficient Optidriver gearbox are ’huge
plusses’ that make for a pleasant day’s
driving.”
Exporting British-manufactured products
from the East of England, the Midlands and
the M62 corridor, the Range T delivers to the

explains: “It was as though the vehicle had
been built specifically for the tipper trade
and we loved that the gearbox automatically
selected the right ratio for the work we do.
The outstanding product performance in
test drives, combined with a competitive

our local Renault Trucks dealer in Reading
was the most attractive deal.”

DELIVERY ROUNDS FOR THE FRENCH POST OFFICESince the end of February, no one hears the
mail van coming any more in and around Dole
(Jura). And there’s a very good reason! It runs
on electricity – generating zero noise and
ALTERNATIVE FUELSIn order to provide ever cleaner and quieter transport options, Renault Trucks has developed vehicles running on alternative fuels. Renault Maxity and Range D Biodiesel are two examples of this environmentally positive approach. The first of these is equipped with an extended operating range fuel cell using hydrogen, while the second runs on biofuel. They are already being tested under actual operating conditions in Dole and Toulouse (France).
The French Post Office has taken delivery of its first truck running on natural gas delivered by Renault Trucks.

odour. On board a Renault Maxity, the first
HGV to be fitted with a fuel cell approved in
Europe, Coralie, the young postwoman put in
charge of the prototype is able to carry out all
her delivery rounds in this vehicle, covering
some 70 km every day.
The Renault Maxity Electric runs on hydrogen
and has an operating range of 200 km,
of which 100 km come from energy stored
in its lithium-ion batteries plus an additional
100 km provided by the hydrogen fuel cell
operating range extender. This fuel cell allows
a chemical reaction to take place between
the oxygen coming from the atmosphere
and the hydrogen stored in pressure tanks.
This reaction generates electricity enabling
the vehicle to generate heat, which will be

used to keep the cab interior warm during the
harsh Jura winters, without reducing the
vehicle’s operating range. This means that the
vehicle only emits water vapour. Developed by
the Grenoble-based Symbio FCell company,
the fuel cell doubles an electric vehicles’
operating range. Filling up with hydrogen takes
no longer than filling up with petrol or Diesel.
This test, to be carried out over a one year
period, should enable Renault Trucks to
explore the full potential of hydrogen
technology under actual operating conditions.
For the French Post Office, this experiment is
in line with other projects that have also been
embarked upon with the aim of extending
electric vehicles’ operating ranges. To date,
the Renault Maxity Electric has already
successfully carried out over 180 delivery
rounds, covering almost 13,000 km,
without incident.
BIODIESEL FOR AIRBUSRenault Trucks and the Rave Group,
specialised in providing transport and logistics
services, recently delivered a fleet of two
Renault Trucks D Cab 2.1 m vehicles in 4x2
flatbed versions and four Renault Trucks
D Wide vehicles in tractor versions to Airbus
(Toulouse). Their distinctive feature was
that all six vehicles run on biodiesel fuel.
While these vehicles deliver the same
performance as their Diesel counterparts,
they can run on B30 biodiesel fuel, a mixture
of Diesel and vegetable oil or B100, a fuel
entirely based on vegetable or animal fat
substances. As a result, these vehicles emit
little carbon dioxide. Airbus was interested
by this solution, which has the advantage
of reconciling efficiency and respect for the
environment. Currently, the Renault Trucks
Cab D 2 m and the Range D Wide Biodiesel
are operating in the Toulouse conurbation
at the Air-log logistics site, devoted to the
needs of all Airbus assembly sites in the
conurbation and its Airbus production site
at Saint-Éloi.

TESTIMONIAL
What is your company’s business? Przemysław Wąsowski — LINK Sp. z o.o.
provides road transport services for goods
throughout the European Union. We offer
complete transport services (FTL),
partial (LTL) and express deliveries for the
automotive industry. Above all, we work for
domestic appliances, e-commerce and
for manufacturers of paper and packaging,
plastics, the steel industry and building
materials.
What constraints do you have related to your business? P. W. — In long-distance haulage, we have
to comply with the prevailing standards
in our own country, as well as in those we
cross. Our company has been able to make
SP. Z O.O. LINK1989: Founding date.750 EMPLOYEES, including 600 drivers.350 TRACTORS, including 120 Renault Trucks Range T (20 more to be added during 2016).40 MILLION KILOMETRES/YEAR. DESTINATIONS: Benelux, United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.
POLANDTHE RANGE T ACCLAIMEDAfter having tested 6 different brands of vehicles, the Polish company LINK Sp. z o.o., one of the major players on the European haulage market, opted for the Renault Trucks Range T. Przemysław Wąsowski, LINK’s transport department manager, explains the choice, based on the vehicle’s many assets.
the necessary adaptations and position
itself on the market. Having reliable and
modern vehicles adapted to meet our
clients’ demands helps us achieve this.
What was your main reason for choosing the Range T? P. W. — The Range T meets our
requirements very well. In association with
Renault Trucks, we defined an optimal
configuration for the tractors according to
our clients’ needs and the conditions under
which the vehicles are operated. They all
have the Fuel Eco pack, which guarantees
maximum fuel savings and the Eco Cruise,
an intelligent 3 mode speed regulator,
an adjustable roof deflector and no sun
visor (which alters air resistance).
Was fuel consumption a decisive factor in your choice? P. W. — Yes, even if it does depend on other
factors, such as route profile, load volume,
the vehicle’s state of repair, weather or
traffic conditions. Currently we can count
on between 8.1 and 8.7 mpg.
Have your drivers received training? P. W. — All LINK drivers follow the
Optifuel Training programme offered by
Renault Trucks. They become familiar with
the vehicle’s specific characteristics and
optimise their driving in terms of fuel saving
and safety. Comparing figures before and
after the instruction shows an appreciable
reduction in consumption.
The Renault Trucks T are equipped with DTI 11 460 hp engines.
RENAULT TRUCKS RANGE T – VOTED“TRUCK OF THE YEAR” IN POLANDFollowing the competition organised by the Polski Traker magazine for the 23rd year in a row, Renault Trucks Range T, already voted “International Truck of the Year 2015”, was voted “Truck of the Year 2016” by the Polish magazine’s readers. In particular, votes cast by drivers and enthusiasts highlighted the benefits offered by the range and its economic efficiency.

Renault Trucks gives drivers access to an app which makes their everyday work easier. It replaces the driving logbook in which drivers usually note down their driving and rest times. Available on iPhone and Android, the driver will only have to click on one of four icons (“Driving”, “Available”,
“Short rest” and “Long rest’.) to enter details, making it possible to anticipate situations at a glance and not exceed the permitted number of hours a week.
