From My Heart to Yours
CentriKid and CentriFuge. Our children are at camp this week so be in prayer for all of them. You will see their names listed in
the newsletter. Be in prayer for David K and Susan Peyton and all of our chaperones as they will be working with our children and
the camp leaders. This is always an exciting time for our children and youth and a time and opportunity for them to grow in the
Lord and also for some of them to make a first time commitment in their faith in Christ. Pray that all of them will grow in Christ
this week and return with a commitment to follow Him and to love Him even more.
Vow Renewal this coming Sunday. For all the couples who will be here in worship this coming Sunday morning , June 25th we
will be having an opportunity to have a renewal of our marriage vows, a renewal of our love, devotion and commitment to our
spouse. An opportunity to do that with others. Let me encourage you to be present Sunday and share in this time of committing
your marriage and your life to one another and to the Lord.
Jonah Can’t Outrun God’s Grace. We will continue on Wednesday night at 6:00 pm. If you have not been able to be here let me
encourage you to start this coming Wednesday. You will be blessed in this time of bible study and joining others as we grow in the
Lord and His grace and knowledge.
Vacation Bible School July 10 -14th. Don’t miss this opportunity to be involved in bible school and be in prayer for our teachers,
leaders and Galactic Starveyors. Be inviting and encouraging children to enroll.
Sweet Comedy August 25th. With Scott Davis. You will be hearing more about this in the weeks to come, make your plans to be
here on Friday night at 6pm, August 25th for the Sweet Comedy Hour.
Earl Miller. Last Friday evening we had the memorial service for Earl Miller at Johnston’s Chapel Baptist Church. It was a fine
home going celebration of Earl’s life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gloria, their four children, 16 grandchildren and 10 great
grand children. We will definitely miss Earl and the blessing that he was to our fellowship.
Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday in bible study and worship as we continue to celebrate and worship our Lord.

Youth News By the time you read this we will be at Centrifuge church camp. Please be in prayer for our students, children, and chaperones. Ask
that God would stir their hearts and minds into a deeper relationship and commitment to Christ. Susan and I both desire camp to be
used as a launching point for a lifetime committed to Christ and His work. Thank you to those who donated to help our students
reach their financial needs.
I would also like to say a special thank you to Scott Stephenson who will serve as a runner for Impact VA mission group next week.
Also, special thanks to Amy Adams who will head up serving the mission group lunches each day. If you are able and willing to help
either Scott or Amy, please contact them and let them know.
Again, summer is a great time to serve and witness to our neighbors and friends. Make the most of each opportunity.
