•Our first course based on basics of traveling•We listened visiting lecturers (for example visitor from Saimaa Adventures company) and studied with Ilkka•Also we did this ”learning diary” what was big part of this course•The point was to understand traveling as a business

Our second course was about tourism and hospitality English.

We got to know berries, herbs, fishes, baking products and different kinds of traditional Finnish foods in English.

Also we did a lot of discussion exercises for example between waiter/waitress and customer.

The course was very useful if you are going to work at the hotel or restaurant.

We studied basic facts about Finland based on questions that tourists usually ask.

We learned the Tourist Areas of Finland.

We planned a fictive traveling schedule for a British family and made a presentation.

Isac Elliot is a 12-year-old Finnish pop singer.

He is best known for his first single ”New Way Home”.

He has became very popular in a short time.

He is well-known in Finland, Sweden, Norway and United Kingdom.

Isac Elliot performed in Imatra Big Band Festival 30.6.2013.

Our mission was to make him well-known in Imatra and also market his concert.

We were working in his concert and after the concert we met him.

• We got an opportunity to accomplish this hygienic pass what might help us in the future

• We studied couple hours with our mentor and then independently from internet

• Hygienic pass might be an advantage to traveling business and especially in catering business where you might be in touch with food
