Judson ISD Dual Language students will develop a high academic and linguistic proficiency in two languages by participating in a rigorous academic program that enhances the development of bilingualism, biliteracy, and biculturalism so that students will graduate ready for college, career, and life in a globally competitive economy.

A 50/50 program, also known as “balanced” is where:

half of each day or week is taught in English

half of each day or week is taught in Spanish

Families interested in the Two-Way Dual Language Immersion Program should contact one of the schools that are participating in the program this school year 2013-2014.

Each school will host orientation sessions, school tours, and information meetings during the months of January and February.

PROCEDURES & DEADLINES FOR THE TWO-WAY DUAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION APPLICATION:

Attend an orientation/open house at one of the two-way dual language immersion schools.

Complete an application and commitment form for each child/children to be considered for the two-way dual language immersion program at the school of your choice.

Transportation will not be available.

PROCEDIMIENTOS Y FECHAS PARA EL PROCESO DE APLICACIÓN AL PROGRAMA DE INMERSIÓN PARA LENGUAJE DUAL :

Asistir a una orientación/casa abierta en una de las escuelas de inmersión en lenguaje dual bidireccional.
