JSS Private School, the latest addition to the chain of

more than 320 educational institutions across the world

by the Indian based JSS Mahavidyapeetha, was officially

inaugurated on the 1st of October, 2011, by H. E. Ali

Mehed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Minister from Ministry of

Education, UAE, along with Sri. M. Veerappa Moily,

InaugurationHonourable Minister of Corporate Affairs, India. H. E.

Sri. M. K. Lokesh, Ambassador of India to the UAE, Dr.

Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors

and Director General of the Knowledge and Human

Development Authority in Dubai (KHDA) and Major

General Nasser Abdul Razaq Al Razooqi were the Chief

Guests. H. H. Jagadguru Sri. Shivarathri Deshikendra

Mahaswamiji, President JSSMVP, Mysore, graced the

occasion. There were eminent personalities from the UAE

and India to make the occassion a remarkable one in the

history of JSSMVP.

endeavour through experimental, co-operative and

participative learning.

The Co-Curricular activities make the learners aesthetically

responsive. Sports activities make the students physically

fit and mentally alert. Club activities, Theatre and Drama,

Inter and Intra school activities provide students with an

opportunity to discover their talents in diverse fields with

the right spirit.

SECONDARY STAGE: (Grade IX to X)

In Secondary School, we believe in providing experiences

that encourage self discovery and growth. Multifarious

activities that serve to kindle and ignite the talent

creativity in each one of our students forms an inherent

part of our curriculum. While specialised coaching for

competitive examinations ensure that students develop

a keen sense of competitive skills, the JSS Extended

Learning Programme clubs and field trips add value to

the learning process.

The paradigm shift in focus from marks to grades, as per

the CBSE's recent assessment policy has got our students

to shift from rote learning to skill based learning.

It is a well established fact that self esteem is determined

by how successful we are in accomplishing tasks or

reaching goals we value. It is therefore incumbent on the

institution to provide adequate opportunities to succeed.

HOUSE SYSTEMUnderstanding the importance of working in teams

and team spirit are the primary objectives of the house

system. All the students in the school are divided into

four houses. A whole lot of activities have been designed

to develop key strengths like leadership qualities,

competitive spirit, team building and sportsmanship

spirit among others.

STUDENT COUNCILA student council system helps students to take

responsibility and interact with the school authorities on

behalf of the student community. The Council comprises

of a Head Boy, Head Girl, House Leaders, Deputy Leaders,

Prefects, Sports Secretary and a Cultural Secretary. These

representatives are selected among the students. They

meet periodically and it is their responsibility to provide

leadership for the groups placed under their charge.

SCHOOL CLUBSTo bring out the hidden talents of the students and to

provide them with an avenue to channelize their talents,

there are a host of clubs in the school. The active clubs

are Literary Club, Science Club, Civic Club, Mathematics

Club, Fine Arts Club, Library Club, Nature Club, Adventure

Club and Sports Club. These clubs are active throughout

the academic year and aid in inculcating key values.

JELP is an integral part of the school curriculum. It

comprises of two sessions, one of prep and the other of
