December was a very
eventful month. Every
one was looking forward
for the national day holi-
days and the winter
break. Human rights
week was held in JSSPS
starting from 7th Decem-
ber, though it is actually
celebrated on 10th Decem-
ber. It celebrates the fun-
damental proposition is
the Universal Declaration
that each one of us, every-
where, at all times is enti-
tled to the full range of
human rights, that human
rights belong equally to
each of us and bind us to-
gether as a global commu-
nity with the same
ideals and values. An Islamic field trip was held on 14th December 2014 for the Islamic students.
Sports day was held on 17th December 2014.
There were many inter-
house competitions held
among the students of
grade 6-11!! In the end, the
falcon house won!
Congrats to all winners!

The republic day celebrations was celebrated grandly. The
event started off with the flag
Hoisting and then all the students were ready to start off with their assembly. Non participants and participants were all
dressed in Indian ethnic wear. The assembly was very
informative and fun. There was a melodious song sung by the 6-8 graders followed by facts and stories told by the smaller chil-dren . We also sang the Indian national anthem as proud Indi-
ans .
To celebrate the Hindi week hindi students were asked to write paragraphs on different topics there were many rounds
to select the winner .
Sports is an essential part of our lives. It keeps us healthy and fit. It also teaches us how to deal with failures. Without sports life would become bor-
ing.
11th to 14th January was interhouse sports week, a time full of enthusiasm and excitement. It was the first time boys and girls played together. 3 matches were held:- throwball, football and cricket in junior and senior cate-gory. Flamingoes, Macaws, Falcons and Hornbills all played extremely well and
with Great Spirit.

The carnival had many games, food and advertising stalls. There were also small
stalls to buy toys, games etc.
The students of grade 1 to 3 participated in a parade to start off the evening, fol-
lowed by the

pressed everyone.
DEC/JAN ISSUE
For me , life in the open air would be a whole new adventure , especially because I live in a
big city with barely any greenery .
Every day, I would brush my teeth using the water from the river which would be followed by a light breakfast after which I would bathe in the cool river water. Then I would explore new places and when I get tired I would sit in the shade of the trees and eat their fruits . At night, I would sleep in the soft green grass after a light supper of bread and butter , with the stars as my view instead of the boring TV and computers , though I think the most uncomfortable part
would be using the open washroom.
I would actually really like life in the open air but honestly not for too long. I would really prefer to live with my family and friends in my cozy
home !!!!!!!
Question: My stem's planted firmly where I am allotted. Teacher : What is the chemical formula of water ? My tail is wavy and my face is quite blotted. Student : HIJKLMNO I relay much emotion though flatly I'm spotted, Teacher : What nonsense is this ? And I grow half my size whenever I'm dotted. Student : Yesterday u said it is H to O I can speak any language, yet utter no words. I'm no seed, yet I am well known among birds. But I do have a speech impediment: I can say cage but not page, aged but not wage. I can say deaf but not red, bed but not sled. I live on a highway that's structurally sound, Where you might see my friends accidentally bound. It has many lanes, and also long lines. There are lots of sharp turns, but plenty of signs. I am played but not won, made but not spun. The key is to measure before you've begun. What am I?
Musical notes
Teacher: "I killed a person" convert this sentence into future tense.
Student : the future tense is “You will go to jail
Mr. A : why are all these people running ?
Mr. B : This is a race the winner will get the cup
Mr. A : If the winner will get the cup why are the others running ?
