Description of Change:

Provide labor, material and equipment to re-route underground pipes, changes to duct work sizing, demo existing air handler unit, and associated concrete pad. Provide credit for the size reduction of certain duct work materials, not removing existing chill water supply and chill water return underground pipes, Kitchen ductwork elbow not removed due to space and existing field conditions, and difference in single wall ductwork not being used , and grouting of existing abandoned underground lines.

Due to unforeseen site conditions of the chilled water piping that is located under the sidewalk and through the canopy footers, it was confirmed to leave the existing piping and re-route new piping. Existing piping was cut and filled with grout. Record drawings show incorrect duct work sizing per field verification while demoing the hard ceiling. Also, while demoing the hard ceiling the existing kitchen duct work elbow was found installed above a run of hard electrical conduit, demoing would've been costly, it was confirmed that it would stay in place. Mechanical room 107 had two (2) air handing units serving the music room and backstage area , during construction is was apparent the second piece of equipment would no longer be used, the abandoned equipment and unused ductwork was removed.

Provide labor, material, and equipment to install new electrical disconnect for condensing unit #9 in building 4; New disconnect, along with breaker for cooling tower 1 & 2 in building 1 b; and new type RK1 fuses for existing disconnect for air handler unit 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, DH5, DH?, DH8, DH9, DH10, and RTU3.

Per electrical codes NEC110.12 and NEC110.28, the new electrical disconnect and breaker were required to be replaced. Also, per the specifications (section 16490 fuses) RK-1 fuses were specified for the existing equipment.
