I am not 'noc'in) these +oo's- 0hat I am sayin) isthat God does not #ant us to focus on food oreercise as the 'ey to di!ine health- He does not #antus to put our trust in natural means to stay healthy- "Corinthians 1=: says* 72or the #eapons of our#arfare are not carnal;8

One mornin)* desperate after yet another sleeplessni)ht* his #ife pulled out my tape on Health &nd0holeness Throu)h The Holy Communion- Helistened to it and faith ,ust )re# in his heart- Heimmediately prepared the elements and partoo'-That ni)ht* he slept li'e a +a+yF

The net mornin)* #hich #as a (unday* he stood upin church and shared on the po#er of the $ords+ody to +rin) health #hen #e come to His Ta+le-&fter hours of +ein) on his feet* he did not need amassa)e +ecause he had +een totally healed ofchronic rheumatoid arthritisF

One church mem+er* &l+ert* eperienced this in aspectacular #ay- (ome time in 6o!em+er "=="*&l+ert #as told +y doctors that his mother had a %cmcancerous )ro#th in the rectum- There #as littlecause for #orry as the remo!al of such tumours isusually fairly strai)htfor#ard-

& fe# days +efore the operation* t#o leaders of thechurch !isited her at the hospital and shared the)ospel #ith her- (he #as +orn a)ain that day and&l+ert #as !ery happy that thin)s #ere really#or'in) out #ell- The operation proceeded #ithout

complications and she #as dischar)ed #ithin days-

3onths later* she #as readmitted for a scheduledfollo#up sur)ery to close the stoma

Her condition deteriorated to the point #here thesur)eon felt that it #as necessary to inform thefamily to prepare for the #orst- He told them that incases li'e this* there is a !ery stron) li'elihood thatthe patient #ould not pull throu)h* and made it clearthat the net three days #ould +e crucial- If she did

In fact* it #orsened to the point #here it affected my#al'in) and e!en standin)- It caused considera+lepain #hene!er I stepped on the pedal #hile playin)
