Management structure
• Since January 2016, the former JPC Philippe
Malbranche (CEA) has been replaced by 2 people:
− Simon Philipps (Fraunhofer ISE)
− Ivan Gordon (IMEC)
• Management board: JPC + 6 SP leaders
− 2-monthly phone calls
• Steering committee: All full partners of JP PV have one
vote
− 2 physical meetings a year, organised at EU-PVSEC (large EU
conference on PV) and at IRP Cheetah project meeting

General PV research goals:
- Increase energy conversion efficiency of modules and
systems
- Reduce the manufacturing cost of modules and systems
- Increase throughput of manufacturing
- Increase module lifetime to >35 years
